****** April Mummies!!!! ******

Morning all
Nat your nursery is lovely and very girlie! Good stuff!
Im sounding like the right lazy one when it comes to the nursery. But in my head im justifying it by saying that we are waiting on tradesmen. Im also not pushing hubby into it too quickly as he needs to think that its he who has the ideas of when to start! He is a heating engineer and has to do some work on the pipes and stuff in the room first. But today's job is taking the old tv and stand to the tip and im planting the seed about taking the old radiator off the wall too!

Now here's a serious question for you. The whooping cough vaccine? Should we be getting this?
Xx

Morning ladies Lynne I am getting mine :).

It's also my v day too xxx

Morning ladies, I'm having the vaccine at 28 weeks. Loving the nursery action, we're working on clearing out the baby's room during the break. Got a few runs to the tip planned and we need to paint the room. Unfortunately we like in a rented house so it's a magnolia prison! Will be jazzing it up with pictures and accessories

Congrats Leanne! X

Happy v day nat, mummyof3 and Leanne!

And good luck with the pool party nat!! Lol I can't think of anything worse!! Haha - bit self conscious at the best of times!!

Trying to motivate myself to take the dog out for a walk... So cold though!! Got loads of sorting out to do too - figure I've still got a week off work though to worry about that stuff!! :-p

Still all snotty and minging.,. Wish this darn cold would go!! Xxx

Oh my I just realised over the next few weeks we will all be moving to TRI 3 arrrgghh so excited xx

Ooo Naomi not long now till we find out which team you are :) xx

Think we are staying team yellow now!!!! It's funny as we kept looking at the envelope dying to know, but the closer it's getting the more we are questioning whether we actually want to know!!! So think we are going to leave it and keep ourselves (and you lot!) in suspense!! Keeping the envelope though in case we change our minds in a few days/weeks!! Xxx

Eek I know, it suddenly seems to be going quite fast!!! I don't feel anywhere near ready - Dont have a clue how to look after a baby!!! Xxx

Aww you have done so well good on you for being good. Wish I had the patients to wait it out lol xx

Lol!!! Found it hard for like the first week or so after the scan, but quite like not knowing now. Most people have guessed girl though (including my midwife lol) based on bump shape, heart rate, scan pic etc etc. will just have to wait and see!! Xxx

Good stuff ladies, I wasn't sure if it was one of these vaccines that had lots of negative information. Good il be getting mine too.

Have fun at the pool party nat. I bet u r a total yummy mummy!
Well stage 1 of transformation of the nursery is done-got rid of the old tv and now just waiting to hear from the plasterer!
Xx

Happy v day mummyto3 and Natalilly. :)

OH has been really busy on call today so no nursery progress has been made. Secretly happy as I'm snuggled on the sofa watching Educating Essex.

Ok ladies all this nursery chat has lit a fire under my backside! Got a call from the plasterer and he is nipping in tomorrow night to price up the job so iv emptied the furniture ready for the charity van to come pick it up. We've got a double bed and matching bedside cabinets that we are donating to a local church charity who collect furniture and rehome it to those who are less fortunate. Im keeping the single mirrored wardrobe and that will be used to store the nappies etc as it neatly fits behind the bedroom door in the nursery!

So my plan is for the plasterer to be done by end of Jan and decorator in early Feb! This then allows me to get a new carpet fitted end of feb for the furniture arriving 1st March! now that's the plan! Haha!

Yayyyy for nursery plans!! I'm going to aim to have the nursery finished during February half term. X X

Booo I don't have a nursery. As I've got 3 already in a 3 bed house the rooms are already took :( although we are looking to move within the next 2 years to a 4/5 bed house so she will have her own room then, until this happens she will be sharing mummy and daddy's room then when old enough she will share her big sisters lilic tatty teddy room. Xxx
