I'm classed as a normal employee and qualify for SMP but not sure if I just keep the form for compliance or whether I need to send it to HMRC. I haven't been able to find anything out yet. :/ also not sure if the company can claim it back which I was counting on. Id better ask our accountant

Not sure what you do with the form but smp is claimed backed like statutory sick pay would be

Iv been truly spoiled tonight and my husband has done so much for me. Everything iv asked him to do before Monday (a short list of household jobs that would take 2hours max) he done straight away with no complaints. He even went to my friends house and picked stuff up that I need for tomorrow!

I got my mat b form today too!

Hi ladies I feel so emotional tonight just want to cry feel a but fed up of oh as he's not got me anything for Xmas and not going to as he doesn't no what to get he reckons am I being a spoilt child? I don't want him to spend much money but there's lots if stuff he could get if he could just be bothered to put some thought into it! She knew that was our name she always has to be in competition they have already told everyone so it makes it really awkward she's also told ppl I've copied her by getting pg they started trying in may n us in march I had my 1 st mc in April chem in may then 2nd mc June but I've not told her that as its nothing to do with her I'm not interested in scoring points like she is the only thing I said to her when the announced there name was well our little girl will have the middle name rose too as its my grandmas name n I've always said that! Maybe I'm just being over emotional just feel like since I've been pg he doesn't fancy me anymore n we don't do anything together but he says I'm being ridiculous just would have liked a little gift to open xxxx

Me neither Hun he comes nowhere near me only dtd 3 times since bfp bloody men I've come up to bed out if his way and she is a bit of a dickhead tbh quite like that word today lol thanks for replying to my rant its nice to talk to ppl on here if I rang my mum she would take it all out of context n think we were splitting up it something lol she does no about the name tho n reckons she's telling the girl if she clapses eyes on her lol xxxx

Aw nat I think that's really shitty of your OH not getting you anything - mine left it til late to sort presents which I think is typical of many men, but to not get you anything??? Have you got him stuff?

I'm feeling a bit unattractive too as hubby isn't as touchy feely as he usually is. Think he gets worried about hurting the baby!

And that girl sounds like a total cow can't believe she's told people that you copied her by being pg - how pathetic. And awful that she took your name Will you have to think of another now? Really unfair some women are really crappy - a girl I know who I share mutual friends with booked her wedding several months after we booked ours, but chose the same venue as us (and it wasn't a local venue) and booked it for a month before ours. So to everyone who didn't know we'd booked it first it looked like we had copied. Plus it meant that all our mutual friends had been to the venue for her wedding first. I was so so mad at the time!!! How are you feeling today nat? I think wr all go through those feelings when we're expecting hun. Please don't think u are alone. Hubby is to frightened to dtd since we got our bfp and only messed about a few times. But regarding the xmas gift he is being a little bit of a scrouge! Its your last 1 before baby! Could you suggest like a 50 quid limit or something?

Ladies I need tips to get baby nel moving. I didn't really feel them move yesterday and I always feel them at nite but didn't. I had my bikini line waxed yesterday (have done for years and midweek said im safe to do so) so I thought they'd be full of beans but nope! Anyone else had a quiet movement day?

Happy Friday! I go on my Xmas 2 weeks holiday today and can't wait!

I'm ok thankyou ladies still a bit annoyed with him n he's in a bit of a mood this morning because he's took the reason for my getting upset is because he's going out with his friends which is not true but u no what men r like! Just fed up of him he best change his attitude! Yes I've bought him gifts he told me last night he would pay 4 some maternity jeans I'd bought yesterday but that's not the point grrrr!!! At least I'm not crying today bloody hormones! Xxxxx

Nat do you think he might have got you something but is saying he hasn't as a surprise? Ian and I said we'd just get each other something small but I got him a new leather satchel for work a baby carrier and a few little bits dvds etc but have fibbed and told him I've got him just one present as agreed. I hope he does get you something, its a bit mean to get nothing at all!

I feel you all on the dtd thing. I think we're both a bit reluctant since now I can feel the baby really strongly, it would freak me out a lot if they started kicking whilst we were doing it!

Lynne I wouldn't worry too much about movement, Pip had a quiet day or last week and I felt quite tired and thirsty those days and now I've got a proper bump so I think they were probably sleeping a lot those days and having a grow. If you still don't feel anything and are worried then give the midwife a call, better to get it checked out than not.

Lynne - I've had a few days like that which made me panic. But they are usually preceded or followed by a particularly active day so think they're just conserving their energy some days!

Tricks I've found gets mine moving - eating chocolate, drinking very cold water and then lying on my left side, singing 'baby mine' from dumbo (for some reason mine really reacts to it?!!) xxx

Pip goes a bit mad for lemonade, especially in the evening, wriggles for hot food and drinks (I swear he knows when its a meal time!) cold water - maybe some of those might get bubs moving?

Naomi that's so sweet that your baby reacts for a song- too cute!! Every night when baby kicks when I get into bed I sing him twinkle twinkle, I hope if I do it every day then when they come they will remember the song and it might soothe them a bit.

I'm the same Natalilly - been an emotional week, my OH has had work do' s and lads nights out and I try not to get jealous but finding it hard missing out on getting in the Xmas party spirit! I resent him having a hangover the next day! I seem to be crying @ everything this week. Blumming hormones! X

Hey Lynne, my babba was a bit quiet the day before yesterday. I saw the midwife anyway the next day for my appointment and the baby was fine, MW listened on the doppler to check the HB and I could hear her moving around, but just couldn't feel her as much where she was. She gave me a good kicking later yesterday evening. She's been a bit quiet again today but I've felt her kick in some unusual places so I'm guessing more of the same.

Eva likes to wake up after a hot meal too, also when I lie down as I think it means she has a bit less room. Orange juice makes her go mental and a really cold drink normally makes her move a bit. x
