Sorry girlies have been dropping in to check u all but am in bed once home from work had my 20 weeks scan and all cooking well we are expecting another blue bundle!!

Ahhhh 3LM thank you we're over the moon... I feel that! I'm just drinking tons of milk and hoping for the best. I used to have quite bad heartburn before I was pregnant anyway so I'm just putting up with it! Bump is starting to get very uncomfortable now, especially when walking/lying down. I've tried looking for some sort of bump support but none of them look like they might help. And if one more person says "if you're uncomfortable now wait another 10 weeks!" I'm going to kill them!! xx

Haha I know lol everybody has an opinion when your pregnant and they think it's their right to tell you. Have you tried mothercare when I was pregnant with my second (10yrs ago) I had a maternity belt which helped with the bump and pain in my legs and back I presume it's something similar to the training type belts wore by weightlifters xx

Yeah I ordered one from Mothercare in the biggest size and it squashed me I'm a size 18 so some of it is bump and a lot is fat! and I'm only 5 foot 2 so it's an awkward size to be normally and with pregnancy added into the mix!! xx

Try asking your midwife hun as I know they have physios for pregnancy and they must have belts in all kinds of sizes or advise of were you can get one xx

Yeah I'll definitely be asking the midwife, by the next time I see her I'm sure the situation will be a bit more drastic! Have you started feeling movement yet? I'm getting tiny hints of something but sonographer said I have placenta at the front so have to be a little more patient xx

Back from scan, defo a girl! All was well but they couldn't get the heart properly so I have to go back again for another scan. Will post a pickie later xx

Ahhh lucky you Pixel for getting to have another scan! Our boy was doing somersaults and made it far too easy for the sonographer to get it done in 5 minutes! Congrats on your girl xx

Keeptrying yes I've been having lots of movement but this is my 5th pregnancy at this stage so I know what I'm feeling for plus my placenta is at the back xx

Yes it's really reassuring at I lost one of my sons at 25w due to an incompetent cervix so I feel I worry so much, I had my stitch fitted last week and it's just nice to feel her wriggling as I know she is ok xx

Afternoon everyone! Hope everyone's doing really well today.

Had my 16 week apt yesterday with mw. Listened to heartbeat which was nice, nothing else exciting to report.

Got massively berated by a friend last night who was recently told she couldn't conceive for saying I hope baby is pink and not blue!
She was like, plenty of people would be happy with either, you shouldn't be so thoughtless. I'm like wtf?? Because people can't conceive, i can't have a preference? So dumb!
It took 3 years to make this baby, I would never have been offended if in that time any pregnant person around me had said they hoped it was a boy and not a girl!

I'm hoping for a natural birth my last was an emergency c-section went into labour at 35w and my son was breech typical boy lol.

Aww tommo hun that's not fair. I can understand her frustration but there is no need for her to take it out on you she is your friend and should be supporting you or even step away and tell you at the moment it's too much for her to deal with. You have tried long and hard for this baby and don't you dare let anyone make you feel bad about your excitement whether it be family or friends xxxx

I would guess that outburst had a lot more to do with her than anything you said. Shame for her x

Yeah, always happy to have more scans ! Eva was asleep on her tummy and wouldn't budge! They should scan me in the evening, then they'd see some somersaults!

Yeah definitely, especially now we've named her and bought clothes!

My placenta is at the front but it must be high up or something as I've been getting a good kicking for a while now. This is my first so I don't really understand why I've been able to feel her so early. I started noticing first small movements at 14 ish weeks if I remember rightly. Just goes to show that everyone is different!

Indeed hun and most times early movements are felt as your in tune with your body and feel unusual things..... I'm that bad I even feel when I release an egg for ovulation lol xx

Yes Nicky i'm so uncomfortable at night its ridiculous - and no matter what I wake up every hour or so on my back with tingly hands and feet!
