Not a good day for me. I came home from work due to morning sickness. Now in bed feeling sorry for myself.

Aw no Lynne hope you feel better soon!!

I'm having a big sort out today- unpacking the rest of the boxes from when we moved, getting stuff ready for Scarborough on Wednesday etc etc. so glad to have a week off work!!

About to leave work in a foul mood. Was in the office at dinner marking in the corner, there were people sat around we so I was hidden so to speak. Colleague walks in and says loudly "have you seen Gilly's bump? It's huge for 4 months." No one answered (obviously because they knew I was there) so she carried on, "well I suppose there was some padding there before anyway". The silence was deafening. Despite my baby brain I did manage to speak up and express my surprise at her noticing, given how self absorbed she is. Was horrible afterwards, I got up and left and had a cry where no one could see.
We aren't friends so it didn't bother me in that respect but I feel very self conscious about my weight and size atm. I wasn't skinny before and always moaned about needing to tone up but I was a size 12 so I wasn't too self conscious pre pregnancy. I'm just so pissed off and to make matters worse I didn't finish my lunch and I'm starving. Sorry for the rant!

Jesus!!!! Aw hun that is disgusting- cant believe she would say that. What a total bitch. Ignore her and don't let it make you feel self conscious - it says far more about her than you xxx

Thanks girls. I'm fine, I know my bump is prominent but I don't care tbh, bubs is happy in there so that's all that matters. Just angry that she even thinks she has the right to comment. Like others have said, people seem to feel they can comment on anything when you're pregnant.

Gilly, that is awful - what a nasty human. You be proud of your bump and I just keep telling myself any extra padding I had before hand just means bub has an extra comfy space to grow, haha.

Good for you for sticking up for yourself xxx

Thanks I'm really chuffed. Tried 4 times to get the NT scan done over 2 weeks, but baby haf other ideas and decided to do acrobatics instead :D

Got my CUB screening letter today and we are low risk for Down's syndrome - yay! :) xx
 
Aw that's good news bec :-)

I'm heading out for a nice bday meal in a min with my hubby. Then early start tomorrow to get to Scarborough to see his family to tell them the good news :-) xxx
 
Is it your birthday or hubs? Either way, Happy Birthday :P

Aww exciting!! Did your parents take it well? I think you're amazing managing to keep it in for all this time!!! Xx
