Morning ladies, yes I do think the twin bag is a lot better in size it has a lot more room for baby and my junk lol I love it, plus I got it in a neutral colour it still looks feminine but not in your face girly so hubby said he will be using it xx

Aww Lynne and Mrs p hope you feel better soon. I have problems with my nerves in my legs and I usually take medication but due to baby I can't and I'm in agony you just have to keep positive and think of what you will achieve at the end....... "A mother will do anything for her child".

Danielle have a great day doing the nursery, once done you will constantly be in there looking at it lol.

We got our pink lining bag in the not so plain hand so no mummy references and it's white and navy so DH isn't bothered about having it - think he'll carry anything though that I've packed so he won't forget anything haha!

I'm spending the day with 2 if my best friends today and seeing Disney on ice tonight lol - birthday pressie for one of said friends who comes from Australia and has never seen an ice show before so should be a good night! I'm hoping to get our shelves etc up in the nursery tomorrow if I can get my dad over as our walls are rubbish and as a plasterer he has the proper fixings we need to keep the bloomin things up!

Also went to the docs finally yesterday as 5 weeks of feeling rough with no meds has finally got to me and he reckons I have sinusitis so got some antibiotics which are apparently ok and should hopefully stop the congestion headaches and nosebleeds I'm having - he also asked about my acid reflux at night and gave me a gaviscon prescription since I'm going through it which I thought was nice of him and the bottle is enormous!! Will last me the whole rest of the pregnancy haha!

Its amazing, getting up and out has totally cured my coldy feeling! We got loads done, the tip, , the bank, carpet shop and then I got my pram bag! I couldn't find one I liked anywhere and by pure luck we went over to the next town for a burger king and there was a boots. So I went in just to see if they had the brown leatherette one I had had my eye on. And by luck there it was! Im so happy!

Feeling exhausted today !! Went food shopping earlier and half way through realised I'd left my blimmin bag and purse at home!!!! Grrr.

Well that's hubby gone off to the airport. Should be checking in about now. Just me, lo & the bump for the next week (and the animals)
Although of course I will miss him I'm secretly looking forward to having the bed to myself (if madam stays in hers) half the amount of washing and hardly any housework as I clean as I go!

Hope you've all had a good day? I've been busy sorting out nursery & having a good old clear old. Didn't realise it would be so tiring!

Well that's the nursery all painted, took a bit longer than anticipated and my back is really hurting now! Really pleased with the colour, as much as I love the pictures I've seen of dark grey nurseries, I was worried it would look rubbish. It's actually turned out better than we thought and OH admitted he thought it was really 'cool', he hates admitting when I'm right usually!

Saving the furniture until next weekend as it's out first 'date' of the year tomorrow. OH's turn to pick so it'll be a surprise for me.

Some baby bits arrived today, a swaddle thingy (??!), newborn cardigan and some hats. I now have everything for the baby's hospital bag. Eeeek.

Everyone else sounds like they've had busy days, hope you're all putting your feet up now. Xxx

Which bedside crib are you getting pixel? My friend raves about the nct crib meat but at £299 it's v pricey! Saw a more traditional crib one called something like troll when out the they day, so will look into that I think.

Had an awesome day today, drove up to Nottingham last night and went over with hubs and my sister to stoke today to go to the Emma Bridgewater factory. Had a delish lunch then spent the afternoon painting mugs and bowls, can't wait for them to be fired and delivered. Utterly knackered now so vegging in front of the tv. Off to get a tumblr dryer and look at nursery furniture tomorrow

My sister and her fiance decided to pop up tonight for a takeaway and they all had a drink! I had freezing cold irn bru! Thats them now away and im heading to bed.
Danielle woop woop on the painting! You'll need to let us see when it's finished and you're happy with it! I bet its gorgeous. I wish I was brave enough to try grey as I think its so cool!

How are you?
Well today is my last day of freedom as its back to work tomorrow. Today im seeing 2 of my nieces for a few hours then il be home for 4 to tidy up, make dinner and then get a little work done for tomorrow. No doubt I won't sleep tonight and be up at stupid o'clock in the morning!
