Glad to hear that there was some good news on this thread today! I received my dating scan, got a date of 12th September! Only 1 week to wait!

Gosh that's soon!!! Exciting!!! Xxx

That's what I thought, I'm wondering if this is a mistake and they have gone based on the dates of my first pregnancy which miscarried on 13th July, but I did mention to my GP about not knowing dates and asked if he could put on my notes that I'd like an early scan to be sure of dates as didn't want to miss out on crucial time scales for certaining screening etc!

As no one seems to answer the phones I am just going to go along and see what happens!

I had one of these and it literally is to date your pregnancy after mine I was 8+5 with my son I then had my dating scan at 12+3 so you will probably have 2 xx

I had my midwife appointment today. Am being referred to a consultant because I'm 42! In other news, I hate having blood taken and ended up laughing hysterically throughout the whole procedure!

Hi, I haven't posted in here for ages, I wemt away on holiday and then wanted to wait until my scan before saying anything. Pleased to report that I saw a little blob with a beating heart, all measuring as it should be! Such a relief - it was at my early scan a few months ago that I discovered my mmc, so getting past that stage has been wonderful. Got another early scan in a couple of weeks and I've now booked in with my midwife.


I've missed a lot of news but sorry to hear about the bleeding purplepebble and mrstlc. It's a very worrying time but I hope you both get good news.

Been for my early scan.... all is good. Little ticking heartbeat, been put back 8 days to april 29th but they found no reason for the bleeding, just one of those things
