Just had my 12 week scan appt through 24th September, three weeks yesterday, ill be 11+6. Very pleased as they'd said I would probably be scanned much later due to an overload of patients waiting for scans at the hospital.
Photos are £3 each... Bit of a rip off but hopefully it will be worth it!
Just want the time to go quick and for everything to be ok xxx

I'm Hayley & EDD is 11th April 2014.
Been feeling generally ok, achy boobs & a bit of nausea but not too bad - I'm eating loadsss as I find it makes me feel better :-S
Waiting for the midwife to phone me about an appointment, the receptionist told me it would be yesterday but no call then or today, grrr!! Is there anything you have to do before 10 weeks? Coz I will be 10 weeks next Friday & don't wanna miss anything!

Welcome and congrats!! Don't think there is anything in particular that has to be done by 10wks, the mw will sort everything when you see her xxx

Yep! Hubby is off this weekend and its my sisters bday so that'll be nice. Going to book a couple more things in before the scan in the hope that it makes time pass more quickly!! Xxx

Thanks Naomi, I thought I read something about some test that had to be done before 10 weeks, maybe something to do with downs testing? I think we will have this as hubby's uncle has downs, I know it's mainly not inherited but still a worry xx

Pretty sure it's between 11-14 weeks or so they do that - its usually done at the same time as your scan if you opt in for it.
Hope your mw gets in touch soon! Is this your first? Xxx

Is it your first too? I hope she does too, I don't want to have to wait till later for a scan as its not booked in early enough! Xx

Ah you should be ok - I had my appt last week and had my date through the post today so think they book things quite quickly.
Yep it will be my first baby. Had a pregnancy that ended in mc at 8+6 in June so I am quite paranoid this time around, but all has been well so far, and had an early scan last week which showed all was ok so trying to stay calm now!!
Think the first is always going to be scary- although knowing me I'll be nervous with the second too!! Xxx
