Well today I had to use a hairband to do my jeans up. Only had them on and done up on Sunday but there was no way they were going to do up when they are freshly washed!

Hi ladies, I've been AWOL for a bit. Hope you're all doing well. I am not doing too good. I was diagnosed with hyperemisis a few weeks ago. I've been admitted to hospital twice now, last time I was in for 2 days. I've lost over 10lbs in weight and just feel awful all day.
They have put me on anti sickness tablets which seem to be helping, though I'm still being sick but just not as much as I was. When I was in hosp it took them 8 attempts to cannula me, they ended up putting it in my leg which was nice and sore.
Down with oh family for a bit so they can help with C and thinking of going back to my parents in NI in oct for a few weeks as they're both retired and can help look after C as hubby works a lot. I just can't function. Had ms with C but nothing compared to this!!
Anyone else been diagnosed with hyperemisis? I have also had 2 migraines in the past 2 weeks, must be all connected as normally only have a migraine once every 18 months.
I tell you what, this baby is going to be perfect when it comes after being such a rascal now. Patiently waiting for 12 wk scan

Hi yes I have hyperemisis got diagnosed at 5w lost 10lbs in a week was admitted to hospitaland had antisickness tablets.i'm 10+3 now and easing a little

It's awful, isn't it. I really can't wait to feel normal again. What tablets are you on? Dr stressing me out as she rang me yesterday saying she wasn't happy with what the hospital had put me on as there are more tested drugs they could try long term. (I'm nowhere near home atm, so not seeing her til next week) So of course, I googled them and shouldn't have. But I can't function with out taking them so I'm in a viscous circle. Just keep trying to tell myself the hospital would give me something bad?!

Say hello to beautiful baby Moore! Im measuring exactly on at 11+6 weeks and my due date is still 10 April (my OH birthday haha)
Buba was proper cute they were upside down when she first scanned and didnt want to play ball and kept moving around.
So buzzing!

3lm glad you said ondansetron as that's what I'm on. Dr worrying me needlessly that it's not as tested on pregnant women than some of the other drugs they can give you. How are you on them? Are they helping?

They gave me a few different ones via iv and this was the only one that helped. I've found them to be good they only last a few hours hence why I'm on two types but without them I was so ill couldnt even keep water down. I still have issues with eating as I can only eat a few mouth fills befor I start to gag lol but at least I'm keeping it down
