Hi, I'm 42 with my first pregnancy and also due in April. Totally scared, you all seem so excited in this forum and maybe i will also be, but at the moment I am too concerned with if my baby will be ok as I am 42. Anyone got any advise ?

I'm almost 40 and expecting my first. Yes, it is a worry at our age but what will be will be, my advice is ..... relax and enjoy, and only worry when there is something to worry about!

Thank you for the warm welcome ladies I am so excited :) My boobs have been sore for a few days which was normally an AF sign and I am so tired at the moment too! I'm loving all these symptoms though and can't wait for the nausea etc to start its making me feel like its real :) x

I'm exactly the same wanting symptoms!! Got a bad case of heart burn this evening! Xxx

Congratulations to all the new BFP's! April sure gonna be a busy month :)
I am officially 5 weeks today, we will all be living week to week from now on!!

Sorry if this is tmi but has anyone bd'd since getting their bfp? OH keeps getting a bit frisky and I know it's probably ok but I don't want to risk anything, plus I don't really fancy it!! Xx

We've only bd'd a couple of times but strangely, it's my OH who's been a bit funny about it! I think he's a bit frightened! Xx

Yup not stopped me in the slightest hehe and its certainly not put OH off neither hehe!

Ha same here- hubby keeps saying he's worried his thing might poke the baby!!! I told him he's clearly a little delusional about his size!!
We haven't bd'd at all yet though. I think because of us losing one so recently we are both a bit on edge... Xxx

Evening well what a busy day on here again ladies. Iv been out today with the girls and it was murder. Only one of them know im expecting so in 8 hours I managed a glass and a half of wine diluted with lemonade. But im panicking a little as I also had a glass of coke, a coffee, a mozzarella stick and a prawn tempura. Am I really bad!?! I was focusing so much on not drinking I forgot other things.

Karen I love your little baby suit. Iv also bought a sleep suit from asda. A little winnie the pooh one at 6 pounds! I love it.

Congratulations to the new mums to be, , sorry I forgotten your names, x

Lol! My OH is using his work pattern just now as a bit of an excuse but I can tell he's worried!

To be honest, I feel like all we were doing was bd'ing over the part few months so it's quite nice having a wee break! Xxx

Ah I wouldn't worry, plenty of people don't even know they're pregnant at the point we are at now. An occasional blip shouldn't hurt :-) xxx

Agreed! It's been too stuffy to think much about sex anyway! Xxx

Hi ladies. I'm about 5 weeks in after our 4th IVF cycle. First ever BFP! Thrilled, ecstatic, elated.... And terrified the bubble is going to burst. I'm 44 and used donor eggs, so I have as much chance as anyone, the consultant has told me. Dying to celebrate :-) xx
