Hi ladies. I'm about 5 weeks in after our 4th IVF cycle. First ever BFP! Thrilled, ecstatic, elated.... And terrified the bubble is going to burst. I'm 44 and used donor eggs, so I have as much chance as anyone, the consultant has told me. Dying to celebrate xx

Congratulations! Hope it's a sticky bean for you. Shame we can't just fast forward to the 12 week point. I lost one in June at 8+6 weeks and so feeling more cautious this time round.

Hopefully though we will all have our lo's in our arms come April!! Xxx

Yes, I'll be finding out the sex. We're only having the one so I would like to get everything in the suitable colour!!!

Uh I'm going to find out the sex too I think. Hubby has his heart set on painting the nursery once we get to the 25 week point. I'm a bit on the fence about finding out really but as he'd like to I'm kind of going along with that.

Oo that's exciting! I get an early NHS scan this time but thinking of booking a private scan between the 12-20 week point.
Going to go in for my private scan around 7 weeks. Xxx

You know how most couples you can picture as more with a boy or a girl? What do you think other people would think you would have?

I think most people would probably picture us with a girl. I used to be really set on having a girl, but since taking a while to conceive and having the mc I don't really mind what we have anymore, as long as he/she is healthy xxx

I've always thought I'd see me with a boy but OH thinks girl - strange isn't it?

I'm the same Naomi - happy + healthy is I'm after even just talking about meeting him/her makes me so excited!! Xx

I'm drawn more to boy things, like boys clothes, names etc but I would like a girl to have that mother/daughter bond that I feel I'm missing out on with my mum. I didn't appreciate her as much as I should've done before she died but you don't ever think that something like that is ever going to happen. Either way I'll be pleased, as long it gets here safely xx
