April 2021 Mummies!

My nausea has been gone for 4 days now, too! 11 weeks tomorrow...

I think I'm feeling flutters here and there but can't wait for the real deal. especially now that I don't have the symptoms to reassure me!

that’s good ....mine comes and gos now so starting to feel a bit better. I read I won’t feel anything till 16 week plus as I’m first caring xxx

I’m the same. My bloating has totally disappeared - I feel the least pregnant I’ve ever felt if that makes sense! But I’m occasionally getting the retching which is totally horrible and exhausting BUT reassures me that bub is still there! I think it had a bit of a growth spurt the other day as I was getting super light cramping (I actually wouldn’t even call it cramping but I don’t know how else to describe it)

Oh I'm glad some of you are starting to feel better. My tiredness has been easing for the last couple of weeks and today was my first nausea free day. Woo hoo! Fingers crossed it continues.

Funny you mention feeling the baby move. I think I've been feeling flutters as well. Thought it was a bit too early but I think it's because I know what it's meant to feel like this time around so maybe pick up on it more.

Has anyone started telling friends and family yet? Now that we're past 12 weeks we've started to share the news. I've not told anyone at my work yet as there's this girl on my team I really like who is having a really hard time trying to conceive, miscarriages, failed IVF the lot. She's had time off cos she's so stressed bless her. It's going to break my heart to tell her. So thinking very carefully about how I'll handle that. One advantage about working from home i guess is i don't have to worry about my bump giving the game away.

@summerdaze yes I’ve told people because I am showing so much and was sick of sucking it in. I also felt so wretched that it felt important to let the kids know as my oldest especially was getting worried about me cause I was feeling sick so often. And once we told them we knew they’d tell the world. I have a lot of friends and family we haven’t told yet though, who don’t live in town. Probably will tell them after 12/13 weeks.

Thanks girls just trying stay positive iv has this terrible pain in my stomach last night and this morning it prob is wind or I read baby expanding faster now not really put on any weight yet so hoping it’s start of a weight gain who knows. It’s not pain that’s catching my breath it’s just more annoying and won’t go away xxx

and it’s right on my belly button so not low on pelvic xxx

Yeah we told a few people pretty much right away. Just immediate family and a couple of close friends. I'm terrible at keeping my own secrets haha so I wouldn't have been able to cope with telling no one until now. It's nice we're getting to tell more people though makes it all feel a bit more real and feels like quite a milestone.

Oh that sounds uncomfortable. Hope it passes soon. Could it be round ligament pain maybe? X

Yeah it’s all gone had nice roast dinner think it was trapped wind xxx hope it don’t come back as that was painful xxx

@Zoe_helen25 gas has almost sent me to the ER before! It’s awful!

With my youngest son we didn’t tell anyone (except my sister) until my first scan at 11 weeks. I hated it! But i was so scared after the miscarriage.

I’ve told a couple of people at work, I had awful SPD last time and I’m already feeling a few niggles as a result of being on my feet for a whole shift.

I haven’t told any family yet, very apprehensive about their reaction.

My OH said yesterday that he doesn’t think I’ll be able to keep it a secret much longer as I’ve got quite a bump! I’ve actually lost 5lbs in the last three weeks though so I’ve not gained weight, just changed shape.

Scan tomorrow! I don’t think my OH will be able to come though as we can’t find anyone available to look after the other children.

@Dj2015 what number baby is this for you? Why do you think your family might not react well? If it helps, I was terrified of my family’s reaction and they’re all over the moon. Hope the same is true for you. Good luck for your scan!

i found my Doppler finally and heard baby’s heartbeat!!! Best sound in the world!

Baby number 4 for me. They weren’t impressed with no 3, so I just can’t see this going down well!

Scan and bloods done, just waiting for flu jab! Moved me forward two days so now due 16/4/21!

How exciting! At the moment we both have the same DD!!! Weeeee!

it’s a shame that your family were funny about bub 3. I know it’s easy to say but bugger them! It’s YOUR life and you don’t need that sort of negativity.

such a lovely scan.
