Thank you! I’ve just looked at the tests again and they’re even darker now than before... I still wasn’t convinced so I took a third test haha. I’m now feeling sick with worry... hoping our third time is lucky and this one sticks around. What a 30th bday pressie eh? It’s my 30th on Wednesday xx

@GeekMaker i hope you get an answer either way soon. The not knowing is really the hardest part.

Thankfully I’m not too bad with needles, my veins like to hide from them! when they put me on a drip during labour with ds they tried about 10 times before they sent for a specialist, even then they needed an ultrasound!! has to start gas and air for it!!

Thank you everyone!! I’m still in shock!

@SugaryIris the last time I had a MC they said to me if I manage to make it to 7 weeks then I can go to my EPU for a reassurance scan. I go away on 23rd April for a surprise destination holiday with my hubby and when we come back we will be 7 weeks so I’ll be phoning up straight away to book in (if I’ve managed to carry that long as I’ve not gone past 5 weeks + 2 before...)

I feel so sick with worry! This is our 3rd BFP and hopefully our third time lucky! my hubby is at work all day today so I’m going to have to wait to share the news with him xx

I’ve not a clue how I’m going to keep it in all day @SugaryIris the hardest part is tonight I’m going for a family meal with my parents and sisters as well as in-laws and my mum had previously said to me how ‘nice’ it would be if I had some good news to tell them on the night because we would all be together. I was annoyed at her for saying that but now I’m not sure how I’ll get away with not drinking all night and then not suspecting a thing... they all know about our MCs so I may just tell them tonight I’m not sure. X

Little update from me, AF due tomorrow and I’m 100% sure it’s going to come. So disappointed but hey ho. Onto cycle 5 x

I’ve told our parents each time we’ve conceived, I’m not ashamed of them to know we are trying or about the mcs, we just can’t keep secrets! Xx

Yes that’s what I’m thinking. I’ve told them bad news on 2 occasions now and then got their support afterwards. This time I’ll be telling them good news and hopefully no bad news will follow x

If its any help - had i conceived this cycle i would have told my mum this Tuesday when i see her just because she knows about us & ttc & infertility

I’ll have to discuss it with my hubby tonight but we only have 40 mins between him getting in from work and us needing to leave for the meal haha ekkk! Not long for him to get his head around the idea, be excited and then for us to share our news x

Thanks it does help. I think I’ll have to tell a few close friends too because I’ve got bday plans arranged with them where a lot of drinking is planned hah but I’m not going to tell the wider world until we are ready x
