I put on a lot of weight with both my pregnancies and well despite my youngest being almost 4 I still haven't shifted all of the baby weight.

I don't want to have 7 stone to shift after my next baby so I'm going to try and do it now (sensibly and through SW which I attend every week and gain and lost the same 7 lbs due to my love for cake)

Now I have the motivation, I'm on it, wondering if anyone else was in the same boat?

I keep telling myself I’m going to go back to SW but I can’t find the motivation atm lol, I really need to though, I lost 3 stone with them at one point and I’ve put 2 back on lol x

I've lost the same 3 stone and regained about 10 times in 6 years

I put on five stone in my pregnancy  I've lost it all though, and give or-take half stone fluctuation I've kept it off. I do a ketogenic way of eating, have a look at dietdoctor.com it explains what it's all about x

Save yourself time and money and dont bother with SW (They really annoy me :wall2:)

You go to these things, almost do as they say, reach the goal in the time frame then almost think ahhh thats it i am done and bad habits creep in and before you know it you have put the weight back on.

We all know what we need to be doing, eat healthy, drink water and exercise - but it doesn't have to be a choir. Its just small lifestyle changes you need to make....

Things like:

- Dont eat white bread everyday, try and substitute for bread bread or pitta breads

- Try and drink as much water as you can - i know this can be a struggle in itself for most people.

- Avoid sugary fruit juice drinks - unless you make them yourself and even then, dont be drinking copious amounts - it might be healthy sugar, but alot of the same thing will still pile on the pounds.

- Try and fit in as many food groups as you can

- Avoid alcohol in the week

- Try and get in 10,000 steps a day

- DO NOT BUY SW MEALS!!! Full of crap - they might taste nice, but thats down to the sugar and salt they put in them.

You might not feel a difference in weight loss straight away, but the above is easily maintained and you can find something to suit your life style. Use the internet and edcuate yourself - dont pay some woman at sw.

Rant over

IVW - well said.

We all know whats good and what isnt. Its about putting your mind to it. If you want something badly you will do it.

Having said that, i lost over 2stone on SW and have luckily only gained a couple of pounds since i stopped dieting. But my head isnt in the right frame of mind to go back to it.

I just avoid
- jarred sauces
- too much bread
- full fat products
- crisps & snack

We all know whats good and whats not. Its just being motivated

I have quite a lot to lose and I’m going to WW while trying... I don’t have the luxury of waiting as I’m 35 years old and this will be my first child if/when we conceive so I can’t hold it off

I’m going to keep healthy eating if/when I get pregnant and hopefully shed a bit of fat at the same time

I don’t pay them anymore, I do it myself from home n leech my friends app lol

I actually really like SW and I'm quite happy to follow the plan. When I do I cook everything from scratch. I don't make cakes out of a jar of sweetener etc or buy mug shots.

I have a really bad relationship with food and a massive problem with binge eating, which I'm unable to control unless I'm follow g 'a plan'

Different things work for different people and I get that but SW works for me. I don't put on weight because of SW I do it because I have a terrible relationship with food

I lost 9 stone on a low carb diet. It does mess us your hormones while you are on it but you lose it quickly. I did put some on when I was pregnant and after the mc, so I need to lose a bit.

It's mended my hormones lol! with pcos it's the only way I get an even fathomably regular cycle. If I eat too many carbs mid-cycle, it delays ovulation for up to a fortnight.

I can't give up carbs... Ever

I really thought I couldn't, I was totally addicted. Once you are off them and go through cold turkey you adjust and crave protein instead.

I tried to give up pepsi max for Lent .... I lasted 4 hours.

Honestly my issues with food run so deep that depriving or restricting anything is likely to throw me off the wagon within days. I do try to cut down on carbs reasonably, despite following SW.

Everything in moderation, except tea and pepsi max :o:roll:

I used to think that carbs were life, but the feeling of fullness from fat has helped me a bit with cravings - for example I've not turned to them this shark week....! Where as normally I'm chomping the plaster off the walls if it's beige!

Carbs are life, stop trying to convince me otherwise 🤣

I think carbs get a really bad rep and it’s totally unfair... it’s the foods the are high in refined carb, fat and sugar at the same time that’s the issue

Well I lost 1lb this week which was surprising given I was off the wagon Friday to Monday
And my uterus is actually trying to kill me

Oh no chase! I’ve just started cramping but no af yet :( well done on the loss though! Go you!
