Anyone else trying to shed some weight before falling pregnant?

I would be considered to be morbidly obese, but I'm quite lucky because I'm actually quite fit and healthy considering my weight and size. I do want to shift the weight, but I'm not purposely trying to lose it because of ttc, so no diets as such. Instead I'm just trying to eat healthier and be more active, like eating more fruit and veg (though I'm limited because of IBS) and taking the dog for walks every day etc. If I lose weight with it, then that's great, but at the moment it's more of a lifestyle change in preparation for a potential baby. :)

That's a really healthy approach.

I'm overweight. I have 2st to shift really (and that still puts me a stone heavier than my pre pregnancy weight)

With both my previous pregnancies I definitely ate for 2 and excused it, I put on 5 stone each time. Lost most of it between 1 and 2 and some of it after 2.

I don't want to have to do that again so want to get into good habits if nothing else so that while I'm pregnant I eat better for baby

100% the best approach!
