I did an OPK 2 weeks ago when I got my BFP and it was nowhere near as dark as that then! It was similar to my darkest OPK on cd15. Even I am shocked at how dark the OPK is!

ps what does the OPK search for? do u d them everyday at the same time and let the pee stay for a while?? cant see my OH being impressed with my pregnacare bright yellow wee hanging around lol!!

It picks up LH which surges when the follicles release an egg.

My hubby is always at work when I do my opk so it doesn't matter too much really. Oh his days off, he leaves me to it and waits til I'm finished. x x

Lol aw. I've been looking at Tracey's opks in the gallery and the surge wasn't as dark as the control line either. Hmm. x x

MissJuly my opk's in Gallery were exact same as traceys and once my ov had finished i wasnt getting any lines on opks all through LP

But I'm terrified that it's just my buildup to my surge and that its too good to be true.

We should at least wait and see what today's opk is like girls, not long to go now!

That's true! Lol. I've considered the idea that I could be ovulating twice this month but it doesn't explain the differences in the "surge" CD19 was dark and it trailed off quickly but these have stayed dark. x x

yeah....i had the thought about you maybe ovulating more than once..but then i thought the same, that doesnt explain the continued dark lines....

i remember my doctor saying that once you get to my age you can ovulate more than once and at any time of the month....but you're only a young un! at the moment i think i just ovulate once...well, i only ever get one surge and the line are only there for 2 days, 3 days max! x
