aching ankles!!!

Strange question i know but does anyones ankles ache ?
When i went to bed last night they just ached and throbed and i couldnt get confortable.. I know they can swell up but just wondering if anyone else had the same problem ?
In the end i slept with them on a pillow ..

sometimes when I've been doing a lot of walking the front of my ankles ache. Not experienced it in bed though
