_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

KWarbee yep it's the Harrow set we've gone for. I was a bit worried about the lack of reviews too but so many people have said good stuff about Mamas and Papas furniture in general so just thought we'd go for it. Got a mattress half price with it too so it was a good deal. I wasn't actually going to get a matching set but it changed my mind! It's not being delivered until 21st though so can't tell you what it's like until then :-(

Crawkay, my face has been really dry too. It keeps going really blotchy so I'm just trying to use serum and moisturiser more often than usual but not sure it's really making much difference! Think it helps when I use a gentle face scrub though then moisturise straight after.

Eeeek to the September thread! Time is flying! Xxx

Not posted for a few day as been super busy with work! Feel like Iv missed loads

Crawkay, Iv never suffered with my skin before and have developed a dry face. I can't wear cover up or foundation at the mo because my skin just looks dry and flakey. I'm putting it down to pregnancy.

KWarbee, I think that furniture set is beautiful, and I'm sure it's good quality being Mamas & Papas.

Can't believe how fast things are going, soon a thread for December mummies to be, will be up and running in Tri 1 :)

My bump has really popped this week, I actually look pregnant  also been feeling lots of movement, almost feel a bit bad for my hubby when I'm sat on the sofa in the evening and I start giggling when baby is moving about, can't wait until it's strong enough for him to feel too!

Bought some bump bands today because my jeans are too uncomfortable now, looking forward to giving them a go but not sure what to expect! Got my 20 week scan next week, can't wait to see my baby boy again!

Hope you are all feeling wonderful and pregnancy is treating you well ladies xx

Kaylip bump bands are amaaaazing!! I wasn't sure either and left mine sitting in the packets for about two weeks after ordering, but they feel so comfortable to wear.

With regard to the dry skin, I had a facial on Friday and was told that if you had great skin before then pregnancy makes it worse, and vice versa so bad skin before then pregnancy made it loads better - so those suffering from dry skin I'd take as a good sign you had lovely skin to start with :) xx

Evening all need to catch up. Feeling like poop my backs killing me :(

Off out baby clothes shopping with my mum tomorrow so I hope they didn't make any mistakes on the scan hehe
Also hoping to pick up a Moses basket :)

Morning ladies :)

Pretty much finished the cot tidy. Just need to sew a couple more ties together/in place to fix it to the cot better, and it'll be done :)

Thinking of trying a little dress next...
I'll post a pic once it's tied up properly :)

Cold's still gettin me. Over two weeks now and no sign of letting up. The cough and runny nose I can deal with, but it feels like the back of my tongue is bruised (best I can describe it). Every time I swallow, it hurts. Did you ever notice just how often you swallow? I didn't before.
It's a lot.

Apart from that, all is well. Waiting to see what's gonna happen with work. Spoke to the boss briefly yesterday, she's talking about my shorter shifts, so looks like they're gonna be happy to go that route instead of signing me off altogether, which is a plus, I guess.
Nursery gave me a form, too, to apply for two-year-old funding, which would be great, because then DS would get 11 hours a week in nursery for free, which is more than he's in now, so instead of doing one long day, he can do two shorter days :)

Yeah... I got the dress bug now... Gonna go see what fabric I've got kicking around :)

Hope everyone is well. Xx

Oooooh looking forward to seeing your pics Lacey! I'm very impressed, I honestly wouldn't know where to start! Hope you feel better soon. I had a throat like that a couple of weeks ago and it was so painful. I was trying to avoid swallowing (which is hard!) but think I probably made it worse by doing that. Hot water with fresh lemon and honey helped a bit- obviously doesn't take the pain away but does sooth it a little.

Hope you enjoy baby shopping today Angela! :-)

I felt the baby from the outside for the first time this morning. Loved it xxx

Hope you're feeling better soon Lacey! I can't wait to see pics of your cot tidy. I'm knitting a blanket for my LO. I did one for Ben when I was pregnant with him, but I'm struggling to get this one finished. I started it months ago and am only about a 5th finished. I really need to get a wriggle on with it!

Hubby felt LO kick for the first time last night which was amazing. We were lying in bed reading and I started to feel him wriggling around, so I put my hand on my tummy to see if I could feel anything and he started to really kick so I felt it with my hand. I got hubby to quickly put his hand there too and he felt it as well. Baby then settled down and went back to sleep, so hubby tried prodding him to get him to move again, but he didn't. Was really great to feel him moving so much, especially with the anterior placenta. I nearly cried!

The June mummies are setting up in Tri 3, not long for us ladies :pompom:

Picked my Mat B 1 up this morning and according to the date the midwife has put, I can expect my baby to be born in the week that includes 13/4/15. I do hope not!
No idea where she's plucked that date from or who she's muddled me up with.
It better bloody not arrive then!

Hi ladies,

Wow, Crawkay, let's hope not! Think she might have got a little confused!

My OH and I both saw a kick together from the outside last night. My OH first felt her kick/nudge at 19 weeks but yesterday was the first time we both saw my bump do a little 'jump' when baby kicked. It was lovely :)

Hope you're feeling better soon, Lacey!

xx

Finally finished :) got a pocket for change mat, a pocket for bum cream, a little Velcro dummy-tag, a pocket for a bottle, one for nappies and wipes, and one for a clean vest/burp cloth/muslin.
It looks kinda crazy but I'll always know exactly where everything is :)

Crawkey, Ima have to boot you out of July mummies, I'm afraid, y'know... Since your due in April and all... Lol
That's a bit of a mix-up there ain't it. Xx

Whoops... Page stretch... Hope that rights itself. If not, sorry xx

KWarbee, aww that so great that you both saw the kicks! My little one is kicking for last month, but cannot feel it from outside yet! Cannot wait for my hubby to feel it :)

LaceyKeo thats really pretty and useful too!! Well done!

Cyber slap needed - a little pity me post :(

So had the midwife yesterday - as soon as i walked in she was asking if i was okay and wasnt believing me when i said yes. She said i wasnt myself and was concerned. As i didnt have alot to say shes referred me to a councelling service for pregnant woman as apparently your more prone to PND. Which has frightened me.
What if she thinks i wont be able to cope with the baby.
I mean there is alot getting me down at the moment but every mum to be worries dont they?
Her referring me had made me feel.worse as shes.basically saying im not coping!
I was led on the bed whilst she listened fo the heaetbeat and out of the blue she came out with "you know just because you feel like this dosent mean you dont want the baby anymore" woooooaaahhhh there lady!!! I never once said that!!! I said i was annoyed and dissapointed with my myself as ive wanted to love and embrace pregnancy whsn really ive not really enjoyed it! Now im thinking does that.mean i dont want it? Do my bizzare dreams subconsiously mean i dont want/not really for a baby.

im so confused :(
Do you think im reading too much into it?
:(

That looks fab Lacey well done :)

Well I envy you ladies having girls, I could of spend a fortune in that section haha.

Spent up on my daughter today was meant to be baby shopping got her some new shoes, dress few tops and trousers hehe

I have managed to get a few bits and bobs baby sleep suits, vests, booties, mitts, couple of tops and loose trousers (just incase) also a couple of dungaree type outfits but there is very limited choice for boys ;( I was pretty disappointed hopefully I will come across some more but I think I have enough for now.

Size wise I went for new baby and some 0-3 to play safe I didn't want to go over the top as with DD I had tons unworn and a lot of clothing as presents for her when she was born which didn't get used :(

Also had time wondering what will baby be wearing in the summer moment as my DD was a winter baby.

Need a nice bath to relax I'm shattered now. Hope you are all well ?
