Hi girls! Love how upbeat we all are. Make me happy to read! Little trip to a&e yesterday, my bloated tummy and trapped wind got so bad midwife insisted we go in...heartbeat healthy and happy, my organs are on the move hence the pain . Knew all would be fine but lovely they are so caring!
Sorry to hear you're having a bit of bother Bonze, hope it wasn't too painful/scary. Glad all is well.
Did hospital give you anything to help you out?x
I'm the same always on the move lol have you ever looked at a picture of how our insides change when pregnant?! I swear at 40 weeks you could see your intestines if you opened your mouth wide enough lol our poor bodies x
Roxyroo I saw at the body works exhibition and it had a plasticised female pregant body (really weird thinking it was all real) but facinating how much it changes and how everything can move!! Incredible! No wonder I feel hungry under my ribs!! X
Hmmm, just watching some BBC 3 documentary I found on Youtube about 18-24 year olds having babies and one lass has just been doing placenta printing!
Basically painting her placenta and cord a variety of colours and pressing paper on top. She was rearranging the cord each time to make a different pattern. Veeeery odd! Why would you want those pictures?!
Thanks Crawkay I was a bit disappointed not to hear the heartbeat but I know I would have completely panicked if they couldn't find it!!
Ouchhh Bonze I sympathise with trapped wind, I've had it in the past so bad it's just excruciating, but luckily none so far in pregnancy. Glad everything's ok though. The thought that my gut is all squished high up somewhere freaks me out a little to be honest - pregnancy is such fun and games isn't it!! x
It was called We're Having a Baby.
It was all done through the girls and their partners filming themselves. Think it was 2 or 3 years old. Followed most of them from about half way so pretty much our stage.
When is new One Born due to start? I've always loved it but think this time I'll find it more scary than anything. OH has always avoided watching it, he won't be getting away with it this time.x

I know it's totally amazing really! I suffered with really bad rib pain with my first pregnancy so in hoping this time they will be a bit more flexible and not give me too much grief when bsby is trying to climb out of my armpits lol xx
Tense times over here.
I'm highest bidder on some Mamas and Papas curtain tie backs on an ebay sale that ends in an hour. Could potentially save myself a tenner on shop price. Every little helps
I don't watch One Born (too scary!!) but love Call the Midwife - people think I'm strange, but it reassures me watching thinking that it's set 50 years ago, and how much better medical knowledge and care is today!
In other news, last night was the first time I've felt bump discomfort when trying to sleep, it felt so heavy... so I'm after a pregnancy pillow this week! Think I'll just go for a V-shaped one but I'm agonising over beady or feathery filling haha. Also ordered some bump bands from Topshop as I have to undo my jeans every time I sit down now!!
What curtains are they crawkay
I'll be putting my mamas and papas range on eBay in a short while as having new for little girl
She will be having a smaller bedroom and my little man is getting a big bed and a dinosaur bedroom x
I've been sleeping with just a normal pillow under my leg and little bump for the last week, doing the trick so far. Will upgrade to a proper one when I get bigger.x
