OH sent me a message today - he'd been listening to baby's heartbeat on repeat and was making himself emotional. Soppy get!

I think boosh is on holiday visiting family, so will pop back up in a few days to tell us all about the pampering she's had and make us all jealous!

I don't have a bump buddy yet. My edd is now 14th July, front page needs updating, but no-one else has same date as me. So if anyone else wants to buddy up i'm free!

We just got our first baby presents oh has had a promotion so changing where he works in 2 weeks. 2 of the women he works with gave him a bag of baby pressies as a leaving gift. A teeny little hat from Next, 3 lush baby grows from Asda and a Jasper Conran blanket. Made it feel really real.x

Evening ladies feeling a bit peed off
Family's wedding in September and my dd was meant to be brides maid we said yes before we fell preg well OH says we will have to see what the new babies like I mean I know he/she will be 2 months old he says nobody will want a screaming baby around I can understand him but it's stupid things like taking dd to the beach oh we can't do that ..... Im like life doesn't have to stop because we have a newborn it not like we go out anyways we don't socialise, drink have date nights ect so family dos are the only time we get out.
I mean he can't take days out away from my Dd it's not fair on her she's only 3 so angry ;( am I right to be or am I over reacting.

Ps: I'm also free I don't have a bump yet either

Angela. I don't think you're being unreasonable at all. Just because you're having a baby doesn't mean life should stop. If worst comes to worst could you not find a willing parent to babysit for a few hours whilst you're at the wedding? Plus I'm sure that if new baby starts to cry during the ceremony then you'd probably take them out anyway! To be fair he/she wil most likely be asleep during most of the day anyway!! Don't begrudge yourself an evening out (which prob only happens once in a blue moon)!! Xxx

Angela, I think our men are being cautious! I suggested a week at parents house in iow a month after baby is here, he's not sure we will be ready. I said e will never be ready but need to do it to ensure we don't stop doing stuff!!

I'm really happy to be on call during June and July for anyone that wants to put a txt/phone call in!

When are 20week scan happening for everyone? I'm a week Monday! Yippee!! Xx

Crawkay, that sounds exactly like the pains I've been having over the past week. Stitch-like and quite sharp. It's round ligament pain, all very normal. I'm a worrier too so I know how you feel, I really panicked when I felt it properly for the first time last week!

Yeah, I do hope Lacey and Boosh are both doing ok.

My 20 week scan is 2 weeks tomorrow on Feb 20th

This might be a silly question, but if you need to take a urine sample to a midwife appointment, does it matter how long before the appointment you do it? If I was to do the sample at 6 in the morning, would it be ok for an appointment at 1 o'clock that afternoon? X

I would've thought that would be fine but I'm not really sure actually. I usually do mine when I'm there or immediately before, so I've not thought about that before! xx

I'm going straight from work to the appointment so need to do the sample before work really. I can't do it at work because with the job I do, it's a bit difficult. And I don't think I would be able to time it right to do it before the appointment because my bladder is completely unpredictable atm haha.xx

You can do them in advance if the pot has the preservative powder in it - or so i am told! Maybe call docs and enquire xxx
