_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

Hi everyone,

Feeling ill today but I've had a cold since Friday so the headache and lousy feeling is from that, as I normally feel pretty good.

Feeling some discomfort and stretchy pains, think I might've popped a bit last week and my body is just adjusting to it. Trousers are definitely feeling tighter! Think I might take a progress picture this evening.

We haven't bought our nursery furniture yet and I haven't even started thinking about themes...I feel so behind! We looked at furniture in the Mamas and Papas sale at the weekend but we ended up coming away without buying anything. Horrible sales assistant, long story!

I'm hoping to catch an Easter sale or something with the furniture. Seems ages away though and I didn't really wanna leave it that long

Hope you're all well.

xx

Well I'm in a huff.
The timbuktales curtains we wanted from Mamas and Papas only come in one length and they're too short for our window :(
I'm sure I'll get over it and won't care about a pair of curtains once baby is here but it seems strange to only do one measurement of curtains.
Also, tried some nice maternity trousers in Mothercare and they were too short.

EVERYTHING IS TOO SHORT!

Crawkay- don't worry I wouldn't they aren't lined or black out curtains :)

I had Winnie the Pooh for out Dd in our old house and my god I got shot of the curtains (still have them in the cupboard) They weren't lined or black out and as soon as the sun came up she was awake nightmare we also had blinds hehe :) but it is disappointing when they don't have everything to match.
Currently have a range from next in my dd room I shall Defo be going for a nice pair of lined ones this time even if they Don't match argos do black out ones and they are fab they might be plain but they are good

We're going to get a blackout blind in so really the curtains would have been more decoration than anything. We're just going to have to get a plain pair instead. The window would look bare without curtains up I think.x

Never thought of a black out blind lol ;)
As the houses we have been in already had them up lol can I blame baby brain

We're going to put in a black-out blind. Was supposed to install in this weekend, but OH managed to measure the window in the wrong room... we've since decided his baby brain is worse than mine.

MW appt tomorrow. How I've missed peeing in a cup.

We have a blackout blind in ds room, with curtains as decoration. The theme for his room was I love my bear from toys r us. He has wall hangings, curtains (with little teddies that cuddle the curtains and have Velcro on the hands as tie backs - so cute) and a lamp shade. These don't really match the Thomas the tank engine bedding he has now, but it really worked when he was a baby! Won't be redecorating till we move house though, so no theme for new baby.

I'm not sure who said it but why wouldn't you have put any weight on yet. We're nearly halfway through. I think someone may be feeding you misinformation!! You expect to put on more in 3rd trimester as baby gets bigger, but most people should have put on some weight by now! What a difference a week makes though. Last week yoga was fine as I didn't have much of a bump only the is she fat/is she pregnant bump! This week proper little bump and bending over myself was an issue!! The yoga instructor said she's got lots of moves suitable for me as I move through the pregnancy! Which is great!!

Anyone else having weird dreams?? A most bizarre one in that my current head teacher had recruited me as an investment banker as I was good at reading people and could tell if they were good to invest with! I just remember being told I wasn't allowed to buy take out coffee as it wasn't considered expensive enough for the investors or something! Strange!!

I'm not exactly sure how were decorating yet. In the process of buying a house now,so will decide when we get settled in! Have been looking at fabrics with my mum. She's going to make curtains and the bassinet cover! Plus a few cushions! Can't wait to get in the house then we can start buying furniture for the baby's room!!xx

Lots of dreams although I can't remember what they are and very unsettled sleep! Tired Bonz at the moment!

Snowing here and the world seems to have stopped!

Morning ladies glad your all ok

Not thought about nursery yet can wait till after next scan to plan things for her

Scan is a week today
And I'm 19 weeks today

Officially feeling baby move now she is most active last thing at night and first thing in the morning
It feels like she had hiccups at the moment
So lovely to feel Her move

Hope your all feeling baby kicks and movements soon x

Laura, you will feel the baby move more when you are laid down, so first thing on a morning before you get up and when you are resting on an evening. When you are walking around this can rock them to sleep, so less movement then. But she could be active while you are busy and at this stage you don't really notice. Hiccups are great though aren't they. I can't wait to feel stronger movements. Felt a few flutters so far, but now found out I have an anterior placenta, so won't be feeling many movements for a few weeks.

Yeah hiccups are fab Toni
My little boy used to get them loads exp towards the end of the pregnancy
Can wait to feel stronger kicks and movements

She also really doesn't like it when I drivebthe car because Of the way I'm sat
Really need to get some comfey trousers and soon
Whenever I'm at home I live in my pj bottoms for comfort :) x

Crawkay, that is a bit odd that they only did one length for their curtains. We don't need curtains for our nursey as it has a slanted window...can't remember what they're called! It already has a blackout blind and I think it's really cute, OH isn't too sure though. It used to be a teenage girls room so it's currently a hot pink colour (awful) and the blackout blind is navy with lots of stars on it, I do like that :)

Twinkletoes, yep, I've had the most vivid dreams every single night from about 6DPO! They're usually very weird and detailed.

Happy 19 weeks Laura

Not felt definite movements from my little one yet. I thought I'd felt a few pops but could've imagined it

xx

Thank you :) I feel rather large for how many weeks I am but I do quite like it  xx

Kwarbee you look fab!! I'm only a teeny bit smaller than you!

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a good day.

Great scan pics Toni! And loving all these bump pics, you all look great! Xxx

Kwarbee your bump looks great!! I'd been worried mine was somehow smaller but then 5 or 6 people have commented on how I'm showing now, out of the blue, which has reassured me a bit :)

The boarding housemistress I work for has just returned home after a C-section on Sunday - lovely but scary seeing such a tiny new baby and thinking that'll be me (us!) soon :)

Hope everyone's had a great day x

Saw the midwife today. I'm 17+3 so a little over the 16-week date. All well.
OH came with me. Having heard the different experiences about MWs listening for heartbeat I didn't tell OH it was a possibility, so when she said she was going to listen for it, he was well surprised! She found it within 30 secs and OH managed to record it. That was real cool.

Am also loving the bump pics. Hope everyone else is having a good day x
