_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

I can't remember it was neutral and we thought it was cute and a bargain. The towel has a koala on the hood :)

Laura - hubby rang them and they said its out of stock - not impressed! xxx

Oh that's rubbish isn't it
They shouldn't have had it available to order online there error not yours at all
I'd deff be asking for vouchers or some compensation
Hope you can get something hun x

Laura, we are having an early scan to find out gender at 16 weeks as dh can't make 20 week scan, so just over a week and a half to go!

Also, the place we get it done at has a 'loyalty scheme' if you get 2 scans you get a 3d one half price. We had the 8 week scan, now a 16 week one, so will get a 3d one for about £40! Thats at meetyourbaby.com in leeds. Want to do that at around 30 weeks but need to find out from them when is the best time.

Aww that's fab Toni bet your so excited : )
Are you hoping got a boy or girl or happy either way? X

Just got in to bed forgot too tell you all I walked quite harshly in to our stair gate with the side of my tummy today
I've had no pains or issues just starting to feel a little bruised now : (
Must be more careful

Hope all you ladies are ok x

Ouch, hope you're not too sore today Laura!

We've had quite a bit of snow over the last few days, I'm going SO slowly everywhere as I'm just terrified of slipping. It's a nightmare!

Toni that's really exciting - my 20w scan will be February 20th and it just feels like forever away!

I'm still waiting for my Tri 2 'glow', 'feel better than you ever have in your life' feeling to kick in haha... I just feel insanely bloated all the time like I've eaten way too much! Hope you're all well this morning anyway xx

Thanks another you
Feeling much better this morning no bruised feelings
I know what you mean about the bloat I swear the other day I could have popped my skin was so stretched

The snow is terrible isn't it have to be so careful
We had a flutter last night but it's all melted away this morning so I will venture out to the shop later on this afternoon maybe
This last two days I have been so tired and really not felt like doing anything my poor little boy must be bored of the house bless him

How is everyone today?
Forgot i reached 17 weeks yesterday yay :) x

Just had my 16 week appointment, heartbeat was there straight away :) I got a recording of it too so keep having a little listen. Midwife also said my uterus has started to move out from my pelvis so a little bump may not be too far off.

Quadruple bloods and flu jab tomorrow, I'm like a pin cushion.x

Aww glad all went well crawkay and so lovely that you have a recording of it too :)
So sad midwife wouldn't listen to babies heartbeat at mine : ( x

Just been in to work to take my sick note in - saw HR bloke and my boss and he was nice as pie!!! Knob! I couldnt even look at him though so maybe hell get the hint/realised he cant treat me like shit! Got my 16w appt on tuesday. Ill be 16w4d hoping to record the heartbeat!!! So fingers crossed all is well. Me and my friend were discussing tosay how i dont look pregnant and could pass as eating too much food whixh depressed me abit as i had a flat tum before pregnancy (after losing 4st) so some people may think ive just put it all back on :( fx bump pops out soon xx

I'm 16+4 today Claire and heartbeat was right there as soon as she touched my belly with the doppler.
She did say before hand that sometimes it's too soon and they maybe shouldn't try so early so I guess they do have bother in some cases.x

They did with me  midwife couldn't find my baby's heartbeat and I left feeling so anxious, even though I knew it could be difficult. Wish I could've heard it but I was lucky that we got a quick scan for reassurance (not arranged by the midwife, just through my work).

My 20w scan is on Feb 20th too AnotherYou, it seems ages away, doesn't it?! 4 weeks on Friday! I'm 16 weeks today  my baby avocado has toenails now and tends to play with the umbilical cord apparently!

Hope you're all doing well xx

Happy either way, but as my colour coding on page one suggests I think I'm having a girl. There was another thread a while ago which listed loads of different old wives tales, and on about 2/3 of them I came out team pink. But the two main things for me are the bicarb test which said girl, and the fact I feel a bit different. I'm not glowing like I did with Ben, and my boobs have expanded hugely, which they didn't with Ben until I had actually given birth. But I don't know if I'm misinterpreting how I feel based on the bicarb results IYKWIM! But will hopefully find out on the 31st. Also, if you ask Ben whether he's going to get a brother or a sister, most of the time he says sister!

Got 16w appointment on the 20th too, so hoping to hear heartbeat then, but if I don't it's only a day till the scan where we'll see it anyway.

How exciting Toni, I bet you can't wait. I think you might be the first July mummy to be finding out whether baby is a blue bundle or a pink one! :)

I must admit ladies...more recently I've been feeling the urge to find out too. I was so firmly on Team Yellow up until last week and now I'm just not sure. I really, really want to know  xx

K, if you get to the scan and still can't make your mind up, take an envelope, a bit of paper and a pen. Ask the sonographer real nice if she'll scribble a B or a G on the paper, if she can see, and fold it.
Put it in the envelope, and take it home. Put it somewhere safe, and if after the scan you decide you really can't wait, you can still find out. Xx

I thought about that but I know that in all honesty I would be ripping it open the second I left that scan room. If I can make it past the scan without finding out then I know that'll be it, we'll have no choice but to wait.

But, I'm not so sure I wanna wait now  xx

I'm determined to stay yellow but can totally understand people wanting to find out.
It must be so hard at the 20 week scan knowing they could most likely tell you.
I am excited to hear what others on here are having though.x

For us it will just make it easier when talking to Ben. At the moment we have to say 'your brother or sister' which I guess is really hard for him to understand. At least when we know we can start being more specific and it will be a lot easier. It'll help keep him engaged with the process which hopefully will help him feel less pushed out when the baby comes. That's the theory anyway, we'll find out in about 6 months if it helps or not!

Yeah, I can really understand when you have an older sibling to tell, it's nice to be able to say brother or sister to them.

I was so determined to be Team Yellow but I've had such a change of heart, I'm not sure why! But I've done such a good job persuading my OH not to find out that he now really doesn't want to know. I'm so fickle! xx

I hadn't thought of it that way, it must be confusing for a little one not knowing what's going to turn up.

I had to persuade OH too Kwarbee. He was all for finding out. I think other people have helped me with him. He keeps telling me that everyone he talks to tells him not to find out.x
