Ooooh thanks katyjane and Crawkay, knowing the Cosatto has been re-done then I might have another look at it, I had really loved everything else I heard about it!

Glad to know it's not just me with the bloat bump still laura - I reckon either way it is still a bump lol! Can't wait for it to get a bit bigger xx

Just be sure it's the 2, a few sites I've looked on seem to still be selling the original.x

Evening ladies how are you all? Moved house this weekend so been abit pre occupied! Hope your well xxxx

Hope your move went well Claire, I hated moving more so the unpacking lol.

Been to morrisons and they have the tommee tippee bottles in at £10 for six. Shame they only have pink or blue so I couldn't buy any yet :(

Yeah all went well - luckily i got away with being tea lady and did abit of unpacking today - but mainly just bossing our helpers about!hahaha xxx

Have been looking at fabric for the Moses basket today. My mum is recovering the one she had when I was a baby,as we're not finding out it needs to be gender neutral. I found a nice Mickey/Minnie mouse one that's black and white. We've also got OHs step-dad who is going to paint a mural for us when we move house :-) gonna go fabric shopping with my mum in the next few weeks.

Had a really exciting day. We put an offer in on a house and it has been accepted :-) so now ball is rolling hopefully it won't be too long until we can get a moving date!! I also had midwife appt today. She said that everything is normal blood count etc... And I heard the heartbeat for the first time. Was amazing!! Every now and again there was a bang and apparently baby was kicking! It's so incredible!! Every time we see someone about baby they always comment on how active they are! It never seems to be still. Just can't wait until I feel movement!! Hopefully not long now!! It's so exciting!! Everything is falling into place :-) xxx

Hope everyone else has has an amazing day!!xx

Woahh I think I need to go maternity clothes shopping...! My trousers do (technically) fit still, they do up, but pinch in my tummy which looks really strange underneath a top. Looks like I've got a small balloon under there this morning! It still squashes when I sit down, but it's definitely getting bigger!

I tried the hair band trick under a bump bandeau yesterday. Seemed to work. Definitely helps to be comfy x

Morning!

Finally got my 20 week scan date through!! 24th Feb woohoo!!

Hope everyone is well today xx

Glad you got your date Bonze, something to look forward to.

I had a weird dream last night. I'd had my baby (a boy with no name) and I was at some new mums fitness class with some girls from school and some of you from here. My head made up names and faces for you  We all had to race 500m and that's all I remember....

Wow crawkay glad I'm not the only one having strange dreams
Funny how we make up what people look like in our heads isn't it

Glad you got your scan date through boosh

Is anyone having early private scans to find out what there having?

I have got up with a cracking headache today
My fatigue seems to have returned last couple of days also I could sleep for a month
Anyone else still feeling tired?

Hope your all well x

Whoops, I meant Boosh not Bonze.
I won't be doing a private scan, staying yellow anyway.
Someone at work mentioned 3d scans and I looked it up out of curiosity, £190 in my area!!! I'll not be doing that.x

The 3D scans are amazing
But me and OH agreed that we don't want to see babys facial features Till they arrive and we see them for the very first time
They are fantastic things for seeing cleft lip and palate or club foot or other things
But we will be waiting till 20 week scan to find out sex
Eeeekkkk I really want to know now
3 weeks is sooooo long lol x

Morning! I won't be having a private gender scan, staying yellow too! one more london scan tonight, this will be number 6...Can't wait to not have to go to Harley Street and it all being 'normal'

Girls, looking at cots/cot beds, what are your opinions? I figure a cotbed is the best idea? Im also going to rent a bednest crib for our room as my cousin said having a c-section meant her oh had to get up to get baby out/in Moses basket. I wasn't keen on the rental idea but they replace the material sides every use and milton sterilise and its £79 for 7months as apposed to £299!!...any thoughts welcome!

Went into mummas and puppas last night, found a crib for £129 down from £300!! winner! some reason Im not ready to buy, I don't feel pregnant apart from bump so it feels weird!!

Twinkletoes; Thats is SOOOOO exciting on the new house! We move into ours this weekend, busy year for us girls!!

x

Aldi baby event starts on 29/01 in store
Also grab a daily mirror this Thursday and there is a £5 off a £40 shop
May come in handy for you guys :)

Just had my 2nd trimester bloods done & she combined it with my 16 week appointment, all was well heard the heartbeat loud & strong  she said I was measuring just right. Just got to hope I don't get a phone call about my downs screening & just get a letter!

Aw lovely Boosh, mine tomorrow. It all comes round quite quickly doesn't it?

We just nipped in to Morrisons after work to peek at the baby event (with no intention of buying anything) couldn't help myself, got the cutest little hooded towel for £3 down from £5. Rude not to at that price :) x

Crawkay - you make me smile, we are getting the same pram and my mum bought us that hooded towel from morrisons today - bargain! Did you see the sleep bags for £6!!!

I've been emotional today, hubby bought me some lovely flowers to cheer me up and I just cried - bless him. My mum and hubby are both checking I feel ok in myself as I have suffered from severe depression/anxiety and the midwife said if I felt like that I had to tell her - I don't feel depressed daily, just anxious.

Laura I'm very tired! I replied on the babies r us post about the changing unit - they cancelled the order!!!

Hows everyone else?

Hi katy
So gutted they cancelled the order that's terrible
I do hope they give you good reason or something in compensation x

Katyjane - weird! Is it the little koala one? So lovely. I did briefly notice a sleeping bag I think, did it have a zebra on? It was down low and I wasn't in the mood to bend down. Probably going to pop in again tomorrow if all goes well with midwife. They had a couple of really nice, neutral blankets with stars on too.

Sorry to hear you're feeling emotional, at least it sounds like you have a good support system around you.x
