_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

Lola. I'm planning on finishing work on 26th June!! I will be 38+1! This is so that I can tie up all loose ends concerning the end of the academic year and I will only be missing 3 weeks until summer holidays! This is what I'd like to do,but know that it will all depend on how I feel. I don't want to be off for too long before baby comes! Then I'm planning on having 9 months off! Which means I'll go back at the end of March beginning of April 2016! Ideally I'd like to take the full year, but unless our financial situation improves greatly that won't happen (ie. we win big on the lottery!!) Xxx

23 weeks today. Holy cr@p. what happened to tri 2???

I have decided to work as late as possible. If it goes according to plan I'll finish at 39 weeks. If I need to stop earlier, my cover will be in place from 35-36 weeks so that extra time in work will just be more support and training for them before I finish for 6 months. This hopefully means i can afford 6 months with lo and return in the new year.

Starting to get backache but so far it's just a general tiredness rather than pgp, I think. Just gonna stay mobile and ease it off, hopefully.

Hi ladies hope your all ok
My lo is nearly back to full health thankfully
But I have ear infection in both ears now I have an emergency appointment at 11:30 today
What annoys me is I saw my gp yesterday and he gave me nothing
Now I have pains in both ears and leaking too :(

On the maternity leave side of things I am planning on finishing at 37 weeks this time so my last week will be end of May

Well best get a wriggle on have to drive all the way into our town to go to emergency doctor and still sat in my pjs :(

Hope you all have a good day and are well x

Good to hear your little one is getting better, must be horrible when they're poorly.

I'm hoping to get into mid June so finish at about 37/38 weeks. Constantly on my feet though so I may not be saying the same in a couple of months.x

Laura you poor thing! Get well soon xx

I am planning to work until the end, probably part time, my dad will be covering as it's my business so I'm fortunate I can be flexible! Will be off full time for 3months then back in the office part time and working from home!

We are off to London baby shopping! So excited, have a Lon. List and a happy husband...wish me luck! Xx

Good luck BonzE, sounds like a fab day out :)

Glad to hear your lo is feeling better Laura, but sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Hope they can sort something for you!

Happy V Day Crawkay!!! Things are moving so fast!!

As for maternity leave, I'm hoping to work until 37-38 weeks, but will see how I feel. May just adjust my shift lengths closer to my due date as don't think il fancy the 12hr shifts later on. I will have 9 months off, and then whatever leave I can have on top of that, so hopefully 10 months in full!

I'm getting very eager to feel kicks from the outside now...hubby gets a bit jealous when we are chilling on the sofa and I say I can feel baby moving around, will be nice when he can experience it too. At what stage did you ladies start to feel kicks outside?

Xx

Your plan is exactly the same as mine Kaylip, cut my hours down until I start leave.
12/14 hour shifts on my feet in the heat, I think I'd cry.

First kicks OH felt were almost 4 weeks ago, 20+2 I think so going by your ticker they shouldn't be far off at all hopefully.
We were lying watching my tummy move last night, mental.x

I've felt kicks on the outside earlier this time than I did the first. I can watch my tummy for hours! So amazing! Can't wait for the elbows and knees to stick right out so we can play pokey games lol x

I wasn't expecting this :) Happy mothers/mothers to be day ladies!! X

Ahh kaylip that's very cute!

Happy Mother's Day to be ladies!

X

That's lovely Kaylip.

My boyfriend said to me the other day 'am I supposed to get you a mum to be card? Coz I'm not'. Ha, romance is dead in this house

Have a lovely day ladies.x

Wow, we're quiet today. Hope that's a good, relaxing sign.
Had a lovely family Skype this afternoon. Bro and family were spending the day with my parents, so got to chat to them all.
Had a card from OH and LO, which was sweet.
Other than that, housework and sorting emails for me. Wonder what this room will look like this time next year!?

I have had a quiet day, fainted a banged my head this morning so day in the sofa for me! Saw my mum and mother in law! Going to ikea tomorrow with mum to purchase bits needed! Got lots yesterday but still so much to go, had to quite appreciated how much was needed! Xx

Ouch BonzE, glad you had a quiet day after that. Hope you're feeling ok now. Was it pregnancy related or illness that made you faint? Either way, take it easy.
As far as getting stuff ready goes, I think I'm a little head-in-sand about it. I've been offered a lot of stuff, but fear I may be forgetting a lot of stuff, so will have to start reviewing my list to see what I haven't dealt with yet. Maybe that's next week's job... ;)

I was like that Loretta until my hubby got into must sort this out immediately mode and started nesting!!

The fainting is due to a heart murmur and low blood pressure, today was worst one yet but it can happen up to 3times per day!! Xx

I think I know what's going to kick me into shape. A message from a friend saying she's sorted out her babies' clothes and has a bag of them ready for me as the twins have outgrown them. I'll be collecting this week and the moses basket and crib are also nearly available.
Gulp.

Blimey, I hope you're looking after yourself and they're keeping an eye on you. Although I guess if you've always been looking after the murmur, you know what to expect.
There seem to be a lot of us working our pregnancies around other conditions. Thankfully no complications with mine so far. Great to know there are so many people just getting on with life without letting it be an obstacle.
x

It's pretty boring but to be honest I can't complain considering everything else is good!! X

Hope your feeling better bonze and be careful in ikea we spent a small fortune every time we go quality is amazingly good from there!
Well I have my next midwife appointment on Tuesday looking forward to it but hate blood tests and I'm counting down the days to the glucose test :( not looking forward to that either.
Friday is OH operation which is also playing on my mind I'm secretively worrying I mean its tonsils but when they say you have to consent to a blood transfusion as you can bleed out has me scared to death ;(

Oh the up side OH and DD went to the shops this morning and came back with two beautiful bunches of flowered and DD picked me out a card :) DD and I then spent the day at my mams which she also picked a bunch of flowers for bless her :)

OH built my drawers from ikea for babies room I just need to get in there and get it sorted and de cluttered :/

Hey all,

Just checking in. Looks like peeps have had nice weekends, that's good :)

I've got DSs hearing test today. Be nice to finally know for sure if he can hear properly or not.

Also getting a phonecall from the doc today to see if I'm gonna be signed off work. Don't know how long for, but I saw the physio again Friday, and she said it's the walking that's making my hip worse. If I had an office job, it'd be okay, but when my job involves 10 hours of walking a day... Not ideal.
See what happens there, I guess.

Still sewing away. About to start a second bag. Definitely gonna look at some sort of rag doll too, and I got some nice material to attempt a little skirt/dress, so we'll see what happens there.

BonzE, you take care hon. Do they know how long to expect this to carry on for? Couple weeks? Until birth?

Have a good day ladies :) xx

Hi ladies

Been hectic at work recently and had a lovely but busy weekend so didn't have the chance to pop in here properly.

Angela, I'm sorry to hear about your family member passing away. I hope everything goes well with your OH's op on Friday too x

Lacey, that sleeping bag looks amazing! I'm really tempted to learn how to knit so I can make a baby blanket. All the best for your LO's hearing check today x

Kaylip, glad to hear your 20 week scan went well and your little one is still a little boy! My OH gave me a Mummy-to-be card too, bless him, I really wasn't expecting one at all!

Bonze, glad to hear your midwife appointment went well. Mine isn't until next week. Sorry to hear about the fainting, as Lacey asked, is that something that's going to continue all the way through pregnancy for you?

Congratulations to those of you who have reached V-Day!!!

Laura, I hope you're feeling better? Sounds like you've been having a rough time recently x

Mat leave - My last day is June 19th when I'll be 37+2. Taking two weeks annual leave and my mat leave doesn't officially start until the 6th.

Hope you're all well xx
