Hi ladies just got back
I'm bang on 20 weeks still which is fab :)
Baby was very naughty and nearly had to go back but she moved at the last moment for sonographer to get spine details
Lovely sonographer
Really hurt a but when baby was sticking her bum out and she was pressing down on me but managed to get all the checks done
Pleased to confirm we are still team pink and out little one will be due 30/06
Here is a little pic
She was looking at her hands
So beautiful
Can't wait for all your scans now and to see pics x

Thanks Boosh, that does look a fantastic bag - I'm a bit torn now between that and the Jura!! I wonder if can get somewhere that has them to look at... I'm terrible at judging dimensions off the internet!

Laura, what a beautiful pic - she is gorgeous!!

Claire, let us know how you get on - thinking of you. I've felt nothing after a few flutters on Saturday and I'm trying to remember it's normal when you're just starting to feel them...! I've also got no idea where my placenta is so for all I know it might be anterior and shielding things... Agh this is a stressful time this pregnancy lark! x

Awh, Laura, how amazing! What a lovely picture of your little girl. So glad to hear it went well. So exciting that we're all starting to have our 20 week scans! Mine is in 10 days. I'm really nervous but really excited for it!

Hope you're all well. I've been busy at work so haven't had the chance to pop in here properly.

Sunday was a quiet day movements wise but I've felt her wriggling away yesterday and today. Such an amazing feeling! I know it's normal not to feel them consistently at this stage as it all depends on where they're lying and what we're up to. It's just reassuring to feel those little flutters!!

Claire, definitely not. Pregnancy is such an anxious time and midwives are there to help and reassure use. Let us know how you get on.

xx

Aww Laura what a great picture! I'm glad everything went well for you!

Another You I think John Lewis sell them but not sure if they have them in store - although I think they may have free returns so I would just order both and send back the one you don't want?

Claire I hope all goes well at the Drs - I did read that babys movements aren't frequent until around the 24 week mark and at this stage can be very light so if you are moving around etc you may not feel them! Try not to worry too much but you are right in going to the drs if you are concerened.

xx

Thanks ladies :)

If you get time I have put up another post about strep b awareness and a petition for pregnant ladies I be tested
There is a video it's quite upsetting just wanted to warn you also x

Laura.-. Cute pic :)

Midwife was totally.fine with me going, said shed rather i went than be stressing at home. And she can understand my concern after feeling it everyday especially at night to then nothing. Babies heartbeat was 140 and moved about 3or 4times so took her a few attempts to get the count done! Luckily she has agreed to keep me on (midwife was moving to another surgery and we had to have someone new) cant explain it but the idea of this made me really anxious - anyway she said shell keep me so good all round :):) scan is 2weeks on thurs. Cannot come soon enough! Xxxxx

Glad you got to hear baby's heartbeat Claire and that everything was fine. Good news about keeping your midwife too xx

Yay Laura, so glad everything is going well.
Lovely pic.

Glad everything is ok for you too Claire.

We popped into a massive Tesco near us last night and I fell in love with pretty much all of the baby clothing they had.
So cheap and some really lovely stuff. Couldn't help myself and ended up buying my first babygrow. First size and it says 'Mummy and Daddy's Little Star Born 2015' on it. It's lush and I keep having a little peek at it.x

Thank you ladies :)
I'm on a paranoid point now
I like to make sure everything is ok downstairs and check it also
I have found that just inside my vaginal opening that there seems to be a swelling it has always been there but appears larger than normal
Do you think I should get it checked by doctors to be safe? X

On another note I've got a terrible cough and sinus infection, which is rubbish as it's the first year I've had it and the first year I've had the flu jab! Annoying! Does anyone know if there is anything I can't take to relieve my symptoms! It's driving me mad. I can't sleep and I feel horrendous!!!x

Twinkletoes - I had a sinus infection in the first 12 weeks & went to the drs & got prescribed penicillin which is safe & cleared it up within a week! I'd go to the drs as nothing over the counter will help - plus you don't have to pay for the prescription so you might as well! X

That'd be great, but I'm highly allergic to penicillin!! Booo! I rang the doctors today and they just told me to rest, drink lots and take paracetamol!which I've been doing for the last week. I have just been sick from all the coughing. Doesn't help that I think every time I cough I'm going to wee myself!!x

Might be popping down to asda at some point soon then!! Morrisons have some good stuff too!xx

Morning ladies
Hope your all well today
I'm just getting ready to head down to the doctors to get this lump / swelling checked out
Wish me luck :( x

Omg. Horrific night :( woke up at 3am and was so ill :( not felt like that in a long long time! Feel better now just have a banging head from dehydration and knackered as i had about 3hrs sleep! Am i being prepped for sleepless nights?!? Lol. How you all doing today? Xxx

Good luck at the docs Laura, hope all is fine! I've got a weird lump of hard skin near the top of my pubic area, but it's not red or painful so the midwife just told me to monitor any changes. Even so these things are a worry and worth getting checked!

Sorry you've had a rubbish night Claire. My head is just spinning with work and meetings at the minute, I've got post-it notes everywhere and my diary looks manic - I'm SO glad it's half term next week!!

On a random note, is anyone else finding it really hard to remember/keep up pelvic floor exercises?! I know it's so important but keep forgetting! xx
