Ah Claire, hope the pains ease quickly.

I think Lacey said her OH was due over some time in February coz I'm sure she said he would be here for the 20 week scan.
Suppose anything could have happened, hopefully nothing bad.
She'll probably pop up in a couple of days and wonder what all the fuss was about.

I've had two little pops in my tummy so far this morning, eeek :) xx

Lacey txt! All ok, mega busy with work! Phew!!

Struggling a bit, work hours are long and Im tired and emotional! Hormones are a bitch!

Midwife appointment on Friday...Ill be 17 plus 4!! eek two weeks monday and its my 20 week scan!

Anyone seen those blankets featured on dragons den with the handles...I think they look like a fab idea!

Also Kaylip, that spend up sounds VERY exciting! I'm going to a baby show with my mum in feb, will have had 20week scan so will go nuts!!! x

Ah good news about Lacey.

20 week scans! It seems mental that we're counting down to them now. Half way :) x

Just had my appt. She said the cramps sound normal especially.for in the morning but if they get worse or carry on then go unit but heard babies heartbeat -loud and clear. 150beats a min and it even kicked the doppler a few times :) xxxx

Glad to hear all is ok with Lacey.

My work trousers became too tight a couple of weeks ago and I didn't want to waste money on a bigger size only to need bigger ones, so I got the adjustable maternity ones. They're really comfy and fit well at the moment.

Still no definite baby movements for me, I don't think. I can't wait to feel her move around :)

Hope the 16 week midwife appointments go well for those who have them.

I'm in countdown mode to my 20 week scan now too, still over 3 weeks to go! It's surreal to be almost halfway though.

xx

Awh Claire I didn't see your message. That's lovely, glad she managed to find it. The anxiety when they can't is terrible. Glad all went well xx

Glad your appointment went well Claire - that sounds amazing hearing the heartbeat - I'm really hoping we can hear our baby's heartbeat on Thursday at my 16 week appointment - I feel nervous about it.

Good to hear Lacey is ok. I'm counting down to 20 weeks - 4 weeks!

Katyjane, mine is Friday and I'm nervous too!

Has anyone got or used a Doppler? Any opinions? X

Re Lacey - yay!
Claire, good that she's not concerned and great to hear heartbeat. I have my 16 week appt next week (17+3) so maybe I'll get to hear it too.
KWarbee, isn't it great when you move to trousers that are comfy again!?

Broke the news to the boss today that I'd like to be off for 6 months. I'm taking the standard time then a couple of weeks unpaid, but the kicker is saving a month of holiday to add onto the end. After the initial shock it went fine. Now to sort paperwork with HR.

Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a good day! So exciting that some of you are starting to feel baby moving! Loving the bumps too :-) Mine is definitely still just bloat- few weeks behind you guys now though so I'm hoping it might turn more bump like soon :-)

Glad to hear Lacey's OK. Hope the pain has eased for you Claire. Lovely you got to hear the heartbeat :-)

Hope your appointment went well today Angela!

Has anyone else been getting back pain? I've been getting really sharp pains in my lower back (kind of behind my bum) on the right hand side. It's been there for a few weeks and has always been worse in the mornings and at night but it just seems to be getting worse. I always thought back pain came later because of the weight of carrying the bump?! Xxx

I've been getting a few niggles in my back, which i'm putting down to ligaments and muscles stretching/moving.

Just been doing a count-up. 'Technically', people who are starting to get BFPs now could be starting an October thread in Tri 1. Unless I can't count to 40.

Haha, I can't count to 10 at the moment!!

I've had sciatica on and off for about 6weeks! Ahh fun!

Thanks girls. BonzE do you have pain down your leg with the sciatica too? Is there anything that helps at all? I don't have a midwife appointment for a few weeks which is a shame as would like to talk to someone about it.

Hope you all have a good day! Xxx

Yes Lola, It can shoot down your leg. acupuncture, and chiropractor has made mine go away. Stretching the muscles in that area too...its a crap on to have xx

Thanks for the info BonzE. Glad yours has gone away xxx

Morning ladies do hope your all well today

Glad your appoitment went well Claire :)

And happy to hear that all is well with Lacey was starting to worry

Bonze I have a Doppler I use it most days just to have a little listen to babies heart
I brought it the first time I was pregnant and it gave me some reassurance that baby was still ok in there
I stopped using it as soon as I could feel baby moving and kicking
Have you got one?

I am positive I felt baby kick out yesterday now
My little one had fallen asleep on me with his head on my tummy after a few mins baby was trying to kick him as his head was obviously weighing down lol it was so strange but lovely to feel
Felt it a couple of times and then moved little ones head and it stopped so must of been much happier and not being squished : )

Im off to the doctors today got issues downstairs think it could be thrush but going to get everything checked incase
I'm so itchy it's awful really getting to me now
Hope she can sort something and hope it's nothing untoward

How is everyone today? X

Aww, bless your little baby getting squished. Cute.

Hope doc sorts you out, thrush is meant to be common in pregnancy isn't it?

I'm feeling quite relieved today, the woman he did my quadruple bloods on Thursday said if there were any issues I'd hear by Tuesday at the latest. No phone call yesterday, phew.

Have a happy Wednesday ladies.x

I swear I only press the button once, I have no idea why my phone keeps double posting.

Thanks crawkay :)
Good to hear no phone calls for your bloods means all is well

Yeah thrush is meant to be quite common during pregnancy so much going off down there with blood flow and hormone changes and dryness it's worse than our weather system lol

I forgot to post yesterday I was 18 weeks... Scary 2 weeks till half way eeeekkk
And two weeks till nhs scan really hope baby is progressing ok x

Oooo just ordered my count the kicks wrist band
Fab that if you go on to breast feed too that it has a L & R on so you don't forget which breast you fed from last
I used to keep a note in my phone every feed lol i was very forgetful
Can't wait till it comes
Another lady had a great idea that you could start using it now so that every time you do ten pelvic floor excercises move it on one and you could keep track through the day :) x
