had a look.. the platinum package sounds great where u get two visits for 185.. but the money it would cost in petrol there and back both times.. we may as well pay 150 for one 20min walk/5min drive from our home.. Thanks anyway.. seems like they are all around the same price close by to us.. even in london.. his mum said she would pay for a scan if we were gonna find out the gender but we arent.. and im not gonna find out just for her!! shes been bugging us to find out for ages

Tell her going to find out but baby had their legs shut hehehe!! You can use baby oil or bio oil on the dopplers hun works fine for me :d give it a go Xxx

I thought about doing that but I'd feel bad and so would OH for lying.. Plus she knows how strongly I feel about not knowing as she came to our second 20w scan so I think she would guess lol I've not known her long so I still want to make a good impression lol!!

Just had a go on doppler.. Having BH still and bubs was awake and kicking the Doppler away, moving about etc.. I was worried coz there was a fast beat then it moved. Found again and was a slower beat I was worried the BH were causing the hb to drop.. But then after a few mins of listening and having to move about alot coz baby was... The two hbs were far apart at the same time got OH to feel my heart whole listening to each hb and neither matched mine.. I remember when I was early on I'd hear my blood flow sometimes but it was always same pace as mine.. And as time went on both hbs moved I've had 3 scans so I know there's only one in there but what is it??!! May put a thread on this too.. Copy and paste time lol x

Could be ur catching different parts of baby heart from different angle ventricular Rythym sounds different to the aetrial Rythym

Well this is me at my half way point, 20 weeks exactly today not really a massive bump, looks more like a beer belly to those that don't know me!! The "twin peaks" as my DH calls them are still out there in the lead!!
