DW your just a tiny bit smaller than me..i'm 5ft 2 - i hate being small.

I don't really mind it now. I used to hate being small when I was younger but now I'm just used to it and as I get older I quite like it cos nobody believes me when I say I'm in my thirties!!

Ahh I can sympathise DW & Littlemiss...I'm 5ft exactly! Ickle bickle! I have to laugh when I get grannies looking at me iffy when they notice my bump...I reckon they only think I'm about 16!! Little do they know I'm actually double that age hee hee x x

I used to get IDed before I got pg, now I just don't buy alcohol and cigarettes and I am 5'4!

I've found the past couple of weeks as I've got bigger, bump seems to be a hand magnet and it's been all women who've had children...surely they should know how personal it is!! Either that or they just miss there bumps! lol!

I got ID'd about 3 months ago for a packet of Rennies at asda. I went through the self service till and it came up age restricted item so the women came over and said it was because you had to be over 16 to buy Rennies. I replied with, 'oh ok' and just waited for her to do her bit thing then she turned and said 'well have you got any ID?' I giggled and asked her if she was being serious to which she apparently was so whilst I put my CAR KEYS down (which she could see in my hand - it's obviously 15 years old to drive a car now....) to get my license out my purse I had a little chuckle to myself. The women was not impressed at how funny I thought she was xxx

Heheheheh, how funny. Can't beleive you have to be 16 to buy Rennies. What do they think kids are gonna do with them???

They must be able to tell the ones who are over 18 by how funny they find being IDed is!! I love it now, not so much in the shops but if I go out I love getting IDed in a bar or club and I'm only too happy to oblige - very flattering indeed!!

It's been a while since I was ID'd whilst out....although it's been a while since I was out. But OH work as a doorman on a Friday and Saturday night and he always has a chuckle at the really old women who stand there drunk and giggling asking him to ask them for ID so they feel young. I've witnessed this a couple of times and it's so funny especially when the younger one's who aren't old enough try flirting with him to get in the bar.
It does feel nice though to be asked for ID, gives me a bit of a boost thinking I mustn't look as old and dreadful as I think I do!! xxx

That's so funny peanut! Surely the fact that you had car keys would have been a little clue?? Whenever anyone ID's me now or comments on the fact that I don't look my age I just say that I have a fabulous plastic surgeon tee hee On my 30th birthday I went out for a meal with a load of friends, by the end of the night we were very drunk so they decided to ask the entire restuarant to do a "10 years younger poll" and guess my age! I wanted to die! x x

That's funny PP, can't believe they ID'd you for rennies! I haven't been asked since last year when I was out with my student mates so recon that why I was asked, the guy was most shocked when I handed over my ID and it said 1975 lol! Makes your night though! Ive found it quite funny that my daughter now gets wound up in school by the boys in her class fancying me, should I be flattered or shocked 14 year old boys like me??? Know that def won't happen when this one is 14 as I'll be about 50 lol!
