Hi, this is my first baby so not sure what's going on with my body.

Yesterday had a lovely walk at the beach on the way home I started having what I thought were braxton hicks but instead they were like intense period pain and tightening that came and went. It settled after an hour or so and I just ached for the next 5 hours like I had a period coming so I soaked in the bath.

Today I woke up sore and I've been walking for a good 2 hours again but after 30 mins it just felt like i had a bowling ball resting really down low and my lower stomach/pelvic area just aches terribly.

I've been quite small bump wise until the last week, am i just popping a bit more ? I feel like im wasting my mw time ringing with stuff like this but curious as to what it is :(

Hi!

Not too sure but could maybe be the babies position? What you describe is exactly how I'm feeling and my baby is currently breech.. had a scan today to confirm.. I'm also almost 29 weeks

I work 12.5 hour shifts and after a shift I get terrible Brixton hicks and period pains/back ache I would suggest mentioning it to your midwife for peace of mind but it all sounds normal to me after you've been on your feet for a while x

I'm better today as i rested, I only ask because I dont see her till the 5th of May but i do have a 4D scan next Saturday so im going to ask what position he is in.

I swear i thought he was head down as i had hiccups in my lower belly button and pelvic area all this week and ive been poking to see where he kicks ect.

I had growing pains but never felt this before and it was only a little walk at the beach that started it, I had pressure down below today especially when I go loo so no idea what baby is doing.

Least I know if i ease up it stops, need to remember im pregnant lol x
