❤️January 2023 Testing Thread❤️

Sorry I’m not sure where you’re up to but if you’re taking fertility meds then is there a doctor you could speak to about it? They might be able to help?
Well…yes…and no. I have had two doctors and they all tell me I’m normal….despite the fact I’m not. I’m looking into some homeopathic options, because that doctor is actually listening to me lol

Spotting prior to your period is usually a sign of low progesterone! I don't get it when I'm using progesterone supplements but do when I'm not! Xx
You have mentioned this before, and I’m still thinking the same thing as you. I was hoping it would magically go way lol. I finally find a homeopath to listen to me! Hoping it gets solved in the next few months!!!

@Sjf0709 aw sorry, seeing a bfn is such a let down. Best of luck for next month:)

@Fsb676 sorry I have absolutely no advice on this. what CD are you on currently? It’s very possible a change could be pregnancy? You could take a test just to see, but I am a pee on a stick addict haha good luck either way and hope someone has more advice for you xx
I was hoping it was due to a BFP too ;) Maybe a cycle soon though! Thank you!

I
I was fine on Clomid but Letrozole really messed me up. I began to not ovulate, my period was later than usual and then came the mid-cycle bleeds.
I convinced myself I was going through the change.
Letrozole is supposed to be the better drug out of the two as well. I will say that after a few Letrozole cycles, it did take I think 3-4 for the mid-cycle bleeding to go away.[/QUOTE
You are always so knowledgeable and helpful! It’s crazy how’s these meds help, but also hinder at the same time. I’m only 27, but was starting to wonder if I was hitting the change early on too…like is there something wrong with me!!! Lol Thank you!

The only really good thing about both, is they elevate progesterone levels in the two week wait!

I’ve got everything crossed for you and a miracle. <3 xx

Thank you! I don’t know what happened to the rest of my reply lol

In case you didn’t see it, as I couldn’t find it…I was saying, how much I appreciate your knowledge and encouragement. It’s so helpful to others. I’m only 27, but was also thinking maybe I’m just abnormal hitting the change sooner.
Also, I did know about them both keeping progesterone up, though I did think they delayed my cycle…which would make sense. I have one more round of letrozole, but I’m not sure if I should go for it or not.

Thank you again!!!

Your reply got nested at the bottom of my quote for some reason.

I’d give your body a teeny break but then do another Letrozole cycle. I always found my LP gained around 3-5 days on medicated cycles which I always put down to the increased progesterone.
My LP usually is 11 days, on medicated cycles it was 14-16 days LP!

Are you using letrozole on its own? I've only ever found clomid and letrozole to work when also using a trigger shot! I think because I respond really well to them so without the trigger shot the egg matures too much to be of any use! My eggs are already 20+ mm by day 8 of a medicated cycle so I take the trigger shot then and ovulate on day 10! Are you having scans so you know what's going on? Xx

Oh hahaha…well glad you found it
I will try that! Thank you!

Hmm interesting. Maybe I need to look into this too. Just doing letrozole. They won’t give me the trigger. In fact my one doctor won’t even give me letrozole because all of my numbers indicate I ovulate normal and on time, but they also “indicate” fine progesterone…though that is not the case. So therefore, no scans.Trying to be healthier and get my body back to normal while doing research hahaha

Oh my word ladies… I’m shaking and in shock.

I’ve just done a test… I’m still shaking. I honestly did not think this would be our lucky month as I had no idea when I ovulated!! I’ve taken a 2nd test but it’s of the same type so I’m going to go out and buy some more just to double check. We’ve previously had 2 early MCs before our rainbow baby so I am also a bit cautious to get excited too early but

OH MY! What a way to start 2023!!

Amazing start to the year! Huge congratulations! :)

I'm 4 dpo and this month I took nervously soya iso. Did not feel any side effects. Felt ok taking it. But it brought ovulation forward by about 2 days. I thought soya iso should delay ovulation and make eggs more mature. :eh:

I am also 4dpo, i have no clue about the soya though. Hopefully it all works out and gives you a good result and bfp :) but very good you had no adverse effects from it :)
My kids are back to school tomorrow so hoping the two week wait will fly, but already counting down the days until I can test, and have already convinced myself I won’t have been successful. I don’t know why I feel so much like it’s going to take a while this time ttc. Hope everyone is well xx

All depends on the dosage you took and on what days. Keeping everything crossed for a BFP, when will you be testing?

Yeah, I ovulate on my own but used clomid to conceive our first and letrozole this time but definitely needed the scans to know what was going on or it would have just matured my eggs too much xx

I never thought about them maturing too much. Thanks for the help!

Thank you ladies. I took cd3-7 80, 80, 120, 120, 160 mg. I was hoping it would delay ovulation. Weird. I will test around 9dpo.
I decided to quit potatoes, rice and pasta for 3 months. It will be difficult at Nandos not having peri peri chips. But I am willing to try.
@Kiwi_53 when are you testing?
@RainbowMama how are you getting on? Any morning sickness?

thinking I will go with Monday as I should be 9dpo as well, just don’t think I will be able to hold off any longer, fully expect to see a bfn, but I have loads of cheapys and that way I feel I am doing something to curb the poas addiction haha. X

No sickness whatsoever. A little unnerving but counting myself as blessed because last time I ended up in hospital and on drips.
Midwife coming today for a booking appt (late I know). She’s coming to my house which I’ve never had before.

If you’re wanting to delay ovulation try CD 4-8 or even 5-9, dosage sounds spot on to me. Not too high and not too low either. <3 Everything crossed for you!
