Hi

AF has arrived for me today (7th Dec) and so that’s me out for 2022. I thought I’d turn it into a positive and start a January 2023 testing thread.

My hubby and I are TTC baby no 2. We only just started TTC again. Last time we were TTC this forum helped me through some very hard times and I loved the community looking forward to getting to know everyone and cheering on everyone’s TTC journey.

Welcome back I think we must have been on here at the same time in 2018 as we conceived our little girl in the October and were trying for 8 months! We've now been trying for a third for 2 years and have found the forum to be very informative and supportive again.

Thank you! Yes we must have been. I joined in the summer of 2018 and got out BFP rainbow baby in April 2019. Can’t believe she’s going to be 3 next week!!

Hi! So after saying I’m not going to obsess over getting pregnant this time and going with the flow I do still kinda wanna know when ovulation is because I had a random 35 day cycle last month and my cycles are varying in length so it’s not always obvious. I’ve done 2 OPKs so far and I think I’m going to be ovulating around Xmas eve. It’s a hard time of year for my hubby as he is manic at work in the run up to Xmas and afterwards but hopefully we can put some time aside to BD.

Hi I am joining in here as my period showed up so I am now CD4 going to try go with flow and not get to crazy over things this month, I think I should ovulate around the 30/31st so will just see how it goes. Good luck to everyone and let’s start this new year with so positive tests xx

I’m on CD 13 already which has thankfully flown by! I forgot to take an OPK today as I was busy and I’m not sure I’ll get chance tomorrow. My apps are saying I’ll ovulate on CD 18 so I could be a few days away yet but not sure due to my random long cycle last month.

Hey guys
I am down for the 3rd jan,
I ovulated yesterday apparently.
I have a telephone appointment with the doc tomorrow to discuss fertility, hopefully refer me to a specialist and get the ball moving again

How did you get on @Frankinstein12 at your appointment?

I’m really confused with my cycle. I don’t know if I’ve ovulated or not. I started doing OPKs and none have been near a positive and I’d even be inclined to say they’re getting lighter if anything. My apps said I’d be ovulating around CD 18 on 24th but they have randomly updated to say ovulation happened on CD12 which it wouldn’t be the worst thing seeing as we BD on CD11 but I just feel so confused with my cycle. I’ll continue to take the OPKs for the next few days and if they continue to get lighter then I know I’ve already ovulated and missed the surge. The only day I didn’t do a OPK was on Monday. Anyway sorry for rambling.

My apps are also saying I’m due on my period on 1st Jan so I could be testing then too but who knows haha

My OPK today was super light. I think I’ve ovulated early this cycle so hopefully we BD at the right time but who knows. Kinda feel relieved because my OH isn’t that well and I’m stressed about Christmas so might not have been BD around Christmas anyway.

Guys….I’m talking myself into the fact that I’m pregnant…..but I know it’s just gonna be af, and I’ll be crushed. I haven’t started spotting yet, and I’m 12 dpo….so that’s good for me! How’s everyone else getting on?

Hahaha I know right….I haven’t had a test in the house in MONTHS. I just couldn’t handle it lol…of course about 5/6 hours after I posted this….I now have tinged cm….so I’m probably out again. Ugh….I was so hoping and praying for it though!!!!!

Hey, yes appointment was fine, I got referred, I work in maternity so it’s easier for me to get the ball moving as I know what they need, scans blood etc

Christmas had been amazing
Im 8dpo now,
Im not holding my breath, I haven’t done any ovulation sticks and I’ve been super relaxed this month. I’ve no ‘pregnancy symptoms’ so I doubt I’m pregnant this month, it’d be a miracle if I was haha

Hey! So I’m 10DPO today (according to my app of when I ovulated as my OPKS didn’t confirm ovulation). At 8DPO I had tinged CM which could either be implantation bleeding (fingers crossed) or it might just be because we BD the night before… kinda trying to stay positive but think I’m out. I’m not inclined to test early as I only have internet cheapies in the house but they are meant to be highly sensitive. Today I’ve been exhausted but that could just be due to the Christmas madness, working late last night and playing non-stop with a toddler haha

Sounds like my life!
I fell asleep on the couch a few days ago, after crippling my back sat on the floor playing with barbies all day haha!
