Will your OH Actually WATCH the birth??!!!

Hi girls

Just thought I'd ask this out of interest really after discussing with hubby tonight.

Will your OH be at the head end or the business end!?!

My hubby said he's staying at the head end but may take a peak at the crucial moment.

God I hope I don't poo myself at that point!

Not really spoke about it with my OH but i know i will be telling him to stay up by my top half lol I suppose at the time i wont really care or even notice if he wanders off down there for a look lol x

My dh always said he would stay at the head end couldn't watch any birth programmes or anything !! All changed the moment he was told that our first sons head could b seen !! Has watched all 3 come into the world xxx

I've told my OH he's staying at the head end! But i don't think i will notice if he does look. He wants to see! He keeps joking that he's going to film the birth on his kayaking action headcam!! You can imagine my response! x

I said t my 2 birthing partners before hand to stay at top end no matter what but they both eventually made their way down to the business end and at first i was like get back up here but towards the end you really dont care xxx

My husband has been well warned that he is not to go have a look down there, if he wants to stay in the delivery room, he will stay up by my head!!
If he has a peak, I will actually kick him in the teeth!!

Omg even the thought of him being down there during that time stresses me out!! X

I was adamant fob was going nowhere near the business end! As it turned out, I had s waterbirth and he saw the lot! However, im one of 4 and my dad had never actually seen a baby coming out til my 2nd (very dramatic birth!) so some men do stick to it!

DH and I both saw DS arrive due to the angle I was at! I was adamant before hand that he was to stay at my head end but during I couldn't have cared less!! He enjoyed seeing DS arrive and is rather proud of the fact too! (especially since later that day a 'hard' looking fella fainted!)

I had an emergancy section but I still pushed for almost 2 hours and during that time OH said he caught a glimps of it and said it looked proper angry and he'd rather not see that again. I imagine next time he'll avoid looking at all costs lol.

My other half is a bit wimpy and stayed at the head end last time, guess he will do that again. He would probably pass out anyway. Lol
