1dpo today after a very long fertile period, got my positive Opk Thursday but signs of Ovulation lasted until yesterday! !

Sorry to hear your joy is short lived, it's awful. Hope it's over soon. That worry makes me not want to ever poas this time. With my first son, I was naive and not thinking of been preg, so I didn't realise until I was almost 10week. In dec I found out at 4wks.

I'm day 12 out of 25 so fertile window. With high open soft cervix and ewcm. I've not used opk this time. Well I did two, half arsed! One was a faint line soninknow that's neg. I've had aches so fingers crossed it was O pains.

I dtd today, Friday, thurs,so will be up for trying tomoz and the next few days after! I'm taking this month as a trial month, as is the first time since mc I think is a normal cycle.

Cramping, nausea sore throat, booked nose and spots are today symptoms. Waiting for my FRER to arrive and will test again if no sign of AF

Cramping, nausea sore throat, booked nose and spots are today symptoms. Waiting for my FRER to arrive and will test again if no sign of AF

Sounds like we're in the same boat, my sister is convinced I'm pregnant as this is not normal for me at all... trying not to get my hopes up good luck!

Ok, so I jumped on the opk thing. And it looks positive, does that mean I will O, or I could already have done yesterday or today? I know it measure a spike in LH but not sure if it lasts and for how long. And why would you do OPK tests after a positive result? I saw some ladies have 3 days in a row.

Lil curly I am so sorry Hun! I know what you mean about wanting it over.

I'm about 3dpo today. Loads of white CM. And my cervix is the Tightest shut I've ever felt it. It feels swollen as well. It's never been this tight closed in any of my 4 pregnancies or during my cycle before. I hope this is a good sign! Its probably my body tricking me though! Lol

Mel.. When you take an opk and its positive it means you will ovulate within 3 days (ish) but it can be anywhere between the day you test and 5 days later. Xx

Thanks for reply. So should just start busy this week then!! It's my first positive, so could it be three days old? Hard question i guess. Sure I will find out mid March! Just trying to keep calm as first cycle.

Had aches for days! Feel like I'm laying a batch full of eggs. Unless I'm just more aware this month x

It certainly does. I just don't 'feel' pregnant.
Itching to just get AF out the way and start my next cycle. Have you tested?

Have you got a pic? I had a positive Opk on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning it went negative by lunchtime Saturday and I Ovulated yesterday 3 days after my first positive Opk
I'm not sure why I had such a long surge, keep testing and you should see the Opk go negative, you should Ovulate around 12-36 hours after your positive

I'm just behind you at 1dpo I think , had a super long surge, and I Ovulated really late as I'm CD 20

Your cervix is closed but swollen? I've read a swollen cervix is a sign of pregnancy,
It's weird my cervix has been soft and open and had ewcm for 5 days but it feels like it's closed today
I've got slippery CM still so I'm just hoping I'm past Ovulation

Really hope this is our month sweetie

Thanks Clover. I've seen your positivity on the Feb test thread! I'm not ready to put my name down for March testing. I'm too nervous. I don't want to go crazy, I was like that last year. Poas for fun! Really went ott. Then I had 3 months of no sex. Just thought F it! Anyway had one happy hump before I went away on hol with the kids, mainly to break the 4 month ban. And bingo! I caught on. Couldn't believe it. ....

So just shows with all the will in the world, it happens went it happens.... Just hoping I've learnt more and got better timing this time. First time I've noticed a soft high cervix. So fingers crossed.

My BF feels like a 'stud' animal or whatever you call them! We just have to laugh it off! I'm sure it would never work the other way... Lol

I'm just behind you at 1dpo I think , had a super long surge, and I Ovulated really late as I'm CD 20

Your cervix is closed but swollen? I've read a swollen cervix is a sign of pregnancy,
It's weird my cervix has been soft and open and had ewcm for 5 days but it feels like it's closed today
I've got slippery CM still so I'm just hoping I'm past Ovulation

Really hope this is our month sweetie

Yes my cervix is very weird for me. I can't feel an opening at all. Even when it's closed I can feel where the opening is (if that makes sense!) this time it feels swollen like its covering the opening. Does that make sense? Lol

Your cervix sounds like you've just ovulated. So my fingers are crossed for you!

I hope it is!! Good luck Hun! I wasn't symptom spotting for ovulation and i wasn't testing properly this month. I was a bit down and wasn't sure if we were going to try again so I didn't bother. I wish I had now though! We only DTD 3 times. Once 5 days before my +opk. Then the day I got the + and the day after. Hopefully I've done enough. Xx

Aww hun I'm not suprise yiu felt down, you had an early miscarrage /chemical and that's hard going, you sound like your covered as you DTD around Ovulation twice,

I've still got Ewcm bit it's not stretchy if you get what I mean, it's like snail trail lol

let's hope we all get to go over to Tri 1 this cycle

I usually put more effort in! So I'm a bit annoyed that we didn't DTD more haha

You really have had a long ovulation? My ewcm disappears after a day. Yes that makes sense.
