Who misses alcohol?

i can't even bear the smell of beer or wine now...so not missing it..I miss a cup of tea more yes sad i know lol i really want one then think of the smell then have a hot blackcurrent instead...I drink apple and melon
J20 in the pub but won't go to smokey pubs.

I really miss alcohol!

Friday night after a tough week at work we'd go round to a friends and crack open a bottle or three and have a brill time getting silly n chatty and now im on schloer its not the same! Im only 15 weeks too!

I may not ever drink Jack Daniels again.

We want a lot of children and I want to get pregnant again after this one is born, more or less, but before we try i'll be breastfeeding anyway so no drinks for me for a while by the looks of things..

I really can't say I miss it at all, but then I was never a big drinker anyway, have the odd glass of shandy over the last couple of months, something hardly worth shouting about, like one a fortnight & nice weak ones at that  I'm such a big wuss when it comes to alcohol....

I miss it, liked a glass or four of red wine most evenings.. :rotfl:
Didnt touch a drop after my BFP until 20 weeks, now I have the occasional lager shandy or a small glass of red wine which I make last all evening by sipping it and really enjoying it

I have craved champagne since day one, and cant wait to celebrate LO arrival with an ice cold glass of the stuff :cheer:

Yeah hubby has said he will get a bottle of champers in for celebrating but can't have too much as wanting to breast feed!!! Had originally thought once LO was out I would be able to get sloshed!!! Well I suppose it is good for the figure not to drink too much - and it is nice getting up on Sunday mornings feeling well!!!!!!!!

I love being fresh on a sunday morning, and enjoying the day without a groggy head.

Went on a hen weekend recently, and all day/night as the others were getting p***ed I was feeling a wee jealous...until the 7 hour couch journey home the next day when 6 of them were throwing up into carrier bags :puke: :puke: It was gross, but I was smug as you like :rotfl:

OH says I am a much nicer person when I am not drinking and he doesnt want me to drink again once LO is ere  I always thought I was a delight to be with when intoxicated  :rotfl:

i dont really drink anyway but i like partying, and i do miss that! it is so worth it tho, and as i just turned 26 maybe its time i settled down anyway. i cant do the stay-out-all-weekend thing forever!

I guess my hardcore drinking days are over as well. Used to go out all the time and get drunk. I still go out, but am trying a range of soft drinks I didnt know existed!
Last weekend, partner bought me a glass of wine, first alcohol since BFP and I was really drunk, really talkative etc. Its definately the social side I miss most. Tonight I went to a party, but left early because everyone was on a different wavelength than me!
Would love a rum and coke.
Jo.

Ooh yes. I must admit the odd glass of wine wouldn't go amiss!

Haven't drunk much since I was pregnant with Maddie anyway so I guess I'm used to it.

LBxx

I miss it badly yes although I think my initial weight loss in the first 3 months was due to not drinking so much cider/alcopops so OH has said when I can drink again im only allowed white wine and white spirits with diet drinks, tight ass mo fo he is!!

I had a few drinks on holiday, nothing stonger than 4.9% though however tempted I was to join in as there was 3 couples, and drinks (local spirits) were BOGOF and the other 2 couples did that but I refused and got water or a bottle of strongbow (1/2 pint) so OH just HAD to still by the BOGOF and drink both didnt he :rotfl:

I cant wait to express the milk and go get lashed. Our mates are coming over from the USA to see us and have put it back till May so I can go out with them as her OH is a yank and never been to the UK so were planning a BIG night out to Manchester or Leeds and I dont wanna miss out on that lol
