Who else feels that their life is on hold?!

Some people are so insensitive, they just don't realize. I bought a sensible car 3 years ago,my sister persuaded me to get one with 5 doors to be was for car seats. Then 2 years ago DH bought a sports car saying we'll probably be pregnant soon and you won't be able to go in it!
I know what you mean about the imaginary children, I was never one of those girls who had chosen my kids names when I was a teenager, were you?

I know what you mean about the imaginary children toooo!

Two people I know have announced pregnancies in the last two days - one a complete accident (they already have three children and she was on the pill!!! Sooo frustrating!!!). Xxx

I sat there this week thinking I can't believe it's August already. I have spent all of this year wishing the time away until our next fertility appointment and I am still wishing the time away until our consenting clinic on 9th October. It's even my birthday next week and I'm wishing that away to get to october quicker. Then I should hopefully be are with our IVF/ICSI dates and wish the time away until those dates. I will have lost a whole year of my life

Oh that's sad. Have you got any fun stuff planned now? I had to start ivf drugs on my birthday and thought we'd be injecting on our anniversary but we might have to abandon the cycle now. It might interfere with a family weekend away now but I don't want to cancel it due to ivf. Its so hard to fit it around the fun things you want to do!

Just a quiet one, have my family and nieces/nephews staying to keep me busy until then. If I have learnt anything over the last couple of years it's not to put your life on hold

And I had saved up a lot of money to spend on baby stuff but now I'm thinking, you know what? I may never need it. Just spend it on whatever I want (the house, holidays, clearing our overdraft which we seem to use every month atm, days out). DH just got a new job so the overdraft situation should change soon anyway but it's like trying to get blood out of a stone to get him to do anything (eg find a cheaper life insurance, change his salary details to our joint account lol). But you are right, Lavinator.

I have just been added to a group from school and someone posted asking what we all did. Looks like everyone had children (many of them accidents). Only me and another guy on that thread said we did not have children (he was concentrating more on his career and didn't have a partner; obviously for me, it was not a choice, lol).

Lavinator, we go for our IVF refresh appointment on Oct 2nd so could end up doing it end of Oct or Nov, depending on the endometrial scratch I would think. Xxx
