When to take xmas tree down

Hi all.
Does anyone know the correct day to take the christmas tree down?
I've read not before 12th night (5th Jan) and not after 12th night.
We need all the good luck we can get this year so dont want to get it wrong.

You should have it down BY the 12th night ie The Epiphany. So the latest it should be down is tomorrow

I took mine down on New Years day. I was sick of them making the place look untidy!!!

I took mine down yesterday couldnt wait for the extra day it looks bare but im glad its gone down for another year
