When did you have egg collection?

Hi I just wondered how many days into your Ivf cycle was your egg collection? Starting sort protocol today but no idea when to expect it to be.

Last time I took the down regulation drugs for 1 week then the stimulation injections for 13 days then the trigger then egg collection. Hope that helps!

My first cycle I stimmed for 12 days, trigger day 13 and EC day 15. Second cycle I stimmed 9 days, triggered day 10 and EC day 12, both short protocol and same amount of stim drugs xx

Do they tell you as you go when to expect it? My DH needs to know when we he has to start obstaining to get the best SS xx

My clinic gave me a predicted EC when I started stims, first cycle it was spot on, 2nd it all happened quicker than anticipated and was 2 days earlier than predicted. I'm sure as you start having the tracking scans and blood tests they'll get an idea of time frames xx

I think they only have to abstain for two days so I wouldn't worry just yet. They will give you more of an idea as you have scans along the way xx

We was only told two days before EC and we had had sex that morning. I was worried as when he done the SA in thr initial tests he had to wait four days but everything was fine and 21 of our eggs fertilised!! x
