Whats happening with everyone??

Hi

I was just wondering if everyone wanted to post their 'situations' here (for want of a better word) i.e. How long ttc, if its first, second, third (etc) baby, any treatment you may be having.... Or if you are pregant already, how long it took to get your BFP... anything you want to share really

Thought it would be good so to see whats happening with everyone in one place and see if there are people with things in common.

Me and Hubby are ttc our first baby, been trying for 2 years. I found out I have PCOS recently and we are starting treatment, probably clomid, next week (cant wait!!) Im 25 and hubby is 31

Hey Flossie, good idea!

Me and OH have been casually trying since Dec 09, as in no OPK's etc, he has a 10 year old Son, this will be my first...we agreed that if it got to the 6 month mark I would get the OPK's and we'd go all out for it so if I get BFN this month the fun will begin next cycle!! Lately my cycles have been up the wall so I am having blood test and ultrasound scan next week to see if they can see anything wrong...

Hi Flossie, I am TTC my forth baby (and last occording to OH)

I got pregnant in jan first time round and then had a missed MC and D&C at 11 + 5 weeks
So here I am again and not having as much luck as last time falling pregnant, but it's early days.
I am hating this 2WW business , especially as my last group of friends on here are now in the second trimester, but on the plus side, I get to meet all you lovely ladies in the TTC room this time round.

Good luck with your treatment starting next week, that sounds like an extra helping hand now you know what the problem was.

Me and oh are in our 2nd month ttc our 1st baby, I'm 22 next month and Hubby is 37. Am hoping his age doesn't impeed things. Am using everything going this month, temps, opks and checking cm and cp. Wanted a baby as soon as we got married but Hubby wanted us to have a couple of years to ourselves 1st (2 year anni in July). So here's hoping it happens quickly for us and for the rest of you! X

Hi, I've got a little boy who we conceived first month trying (now 18 months old). TTC again from Nov, BFP in early Jan and mc on 28th Jan. Had one cycle and tried again. Got BFP next cycle and now 9 weeks and everything crossed for a sticky xxx

Hi toni, i wouldnt worry about your hubbys age. I know someone who is 28 and 4 months pregnant and her hubby is in his late fourties. Good Luck xx

I've been away a while so thought I'd reconnect with you ladies here.

Were now into our 7th month of TTC our 1st baby. Been trying OPK for the last few months but still no joy but still enjoying trying. We've had a tough couple of months with family illnesses, work & building work on the house which has been stressful but I think were coming out the other side. And looking forward to some good news.

Hi We have been trying since sep 09 which is when my OH had a reversal vasectomy. I am 29 and OH nearly 40 he has a 17 yr old D. This would be my first child which I want desperately. His sperm count is quite low but have been told by his urologist that it is poss to conceive naturally if timed correctly so am using OPK. If we dont get caught by dec we are going for a cycle of ICSI.

Hi Everyone!

We're on our 4th cycle TTC baby no.1!

I came of the pill mid Dec 09 and it's completly messed up my body!! I was only on it for 11 months aswell! My 1st cycle lasted a mamoth 50days, my 2nd was 43 days and the one thats just finished was 36 days so they're coming down by 7 days each time strangly?! lol

Anyway i'm on CD9 at the moment and peeing on an OV strip every afternoon. We've also decided to try and stick to the 48hr plan this cycle seeing as the last 3 cycles we've worn eachother out! ha ha ha

Great idea Mrs!!

Well me and DH have been trying for a baby since Jan to add to our family. Already have a 16 year old daughter lol!
Im 38 hes 40 and I have endometriosis and was told in 99 that i would prob need IVF if I wanted any more children....apparently thats not the case as I got pregnant in March but miscarried on 7th April just under 6 weeks!

Im now due to test in 4 days and very nervous to how I will cope with either result but obviously would be delighted with another BFP!!

well i am currently on my 4th cycle of ttc my 2nd child, just nearing the end of the stressful 2ww but think i am out this month. Already have a DD from a previous relationship who is 2 n half and i conceived her in my 3rd cycle. OH was told when he was younger that it "might" be harder for him to conceive due to having erm smaller than normal testicles. So we are just hoping that that's not the case. We'll enjoy trying to prove them wrong in the mean time to you all and congrats to those who have had their BFP's

Hi me and dh are in our 9th cycle of ttc. We have ds who is nearly 4. Who was a bit unexpected as me and now dh were only together 3 months, but very much wanted!! Im now 16dpo, due af yesterday. I had spotting at 8dpo and a tiny bit the last few days... 2 bfn's at the beginning of the week... So just keeping things crossed that its too early to tell. Did anyone else have implantation spotting before getting their bfp's?? Very confused as not had this before.. xxx
