What pain releif and why??

I want to go into it with an open mind. I like the idea of Tens, then gas and air and using the birthing pool but know things may not go that way (theres only one pool at the hospital!). I think I would prefer an epidural to diamorphine although don't really want either but will see how things go x

im tryin my hardest to go thru this tonight without havin anything only because my last labour was brilliant and managed to get to 9 cm at home without anything and even when i got to hospital i only had a quick toot on the gas and air,they broke my bulgin waters and he shot out lol so this has got me thinkin...if i did all that on my own last time maybe i can do it again.but on the other hand if i get to the stage where i feel i cant cope i will take whatever is on offer....thats what its there 4 hun isnt it.anyway il report back at some point today and let u kno what or if i had anything.xxxx
