... Erin for a girl?

OH mentioned it ages ago and I wasn't keen but we're so stuck for girls names??

I quite like Erin Elizabeth. Surname begins with "C" though so she'd be EEC?

xxxxxxxxx

Like that name and the spelling of it too xxxxxxx

Is that not how it is spelt normally then Kaz?

Or do you mean you like the spelling of it in general?

Our other girls names are currently Charlotte and Holly. Although OH reckons Holly doesn't sound right with surname?

It's all a moot point as I am all but convinced I am carrying a boy and we have our boys name LOL!

xxxxxxxxxx

Ive seen it spelt more the way you have but there was a girl in my class at school and hers is spelt Erryne (always had bother remembering how to spell it on christmas cards lol)

All three of your girls names are nice :)

We had a name for each before we knew just to be prepared and have them both ready to go when needed xxxxxxxxxx

I like Erin too, it's pretty, wont be shortened to anything and suits all ages, plus it doesn't rhyme with anything. I have a bit of a thing about names rhyming with things and causing bullying. According to my Mom if I was a boy I was going to be Martin until the neighbour said fartin' martin!

Erin is a very pretty name, quite unique too x

Love all your names carnat esp Erin and Charlotte. Erin is quite popular north of the border and I love it. I do know someone who has spelt it Eryn, which I do not like at all. Why mess with the spelling???

What are your boys names if you don't mind me asking? xxx

Carnat - I love the name, both in fact, as Erin Elizabeth is top of our hit list.

xx

Erin Elizabeth is really lovely, it's got a really feminine but strong feel to it ifykwim? My nieces middle name is Erin and I have always liked it as it is unique without being too 'out there' :)

It's lovely Nat - It was the only name OH ever sugested with Devon, (theres some scifi actress from the old days he fancied...) but by the time I got to 40 weeks,, I had poo pooed him and decided on something else, it's still lovely just because I decided it was getting quite popular at our local school (not hugely , I just kept hearing it on the school run). He still likes it, so maybee I could let him have it as a middle name oneday... Iv'e only known it spelt Erin...

Holly is not used so much anymore, I do like that, and charlotte is a cute name too. I have a mate who is a charlotte, she had a baby Scarlett!

Erin works very well with Elizabeth as it's a really short name followed by longer, rolls offyou toungue nicley

Erin Elizabeth is beautiful. I know an Erin and she is Irish so always thought of it as a Gaelic name. Not common either :)

I don't like it personally but I think it's due to my accent.

My hubby has a niece called Erin and everyone else seems to pronounce it "Air-rin" which sounds nice but i pronounce it "Uh-rin" which isn't so cute lol :)

Erin Elizabeth is a nice combo too xx

Awe Nat it's a gorgeous, strong, pretty name. I love it. And I love James too! Xx
