Well my husband went all out for mothers day and got me a Hugo boss belt. So I need to match up. He's had some awful leather gloves for years that are bin worthy so I bought him some Hugo boss leather gloves.

Well the last 2 years I have made the effort to get him a nice card and present but he has never once got me anything from our daughter for mothers day, not even a card so I don't think I am going to bother this year. Getting a bit fed up of his lack of thought to be honest, I'm not bothered about the present but a card would be appreciated been as our daughter is too little to make one herself x

My OH is a farmer so it'll probably be something tractor related *sigh*.
He didn't think to get me a card from our LO this year despite it being my first Mother's Day so I was tempted to not get him anything but felt a bit mean.

He didn't think to get me a card from our LO this year despite it being my first Mother's Day so I was tempted to not get him anything but felt a bit mean.

My oh is a farmer too and I managed to find him some John Deere tractor cufflinks! Will get him that and a giant Toby! X

Another farmers wife here! Totally stuck for ideas, I'll probably cook a 3 course meal at home and maybe take him out for a day somewhere when he isn't so busy as he starts clipping sheep mid June so no days off until mid july

My oh "doesn't do cards" which always gets me down a little but I always get him cards still and make a big fuss. The last couple of cards I got him he hasn't even opened! They are in a draw, I've told him I'll start writing love letters in them and he can open them all together when I die!

Last year I made him a 'daddy' photo with my lo holding up a 'd' 'a' 'd' etc etc. I got it cheaply printed off vistaprint
But that's been it really.x

I'll most likely get him a moonpig card and maybe a personalised mug or keyring.

Since it's his first Fathers Day I got him some personalised golf shoes from Adidas with Arran's name and date of birth on them.

Mines birthday is a few days before so I might just do a joint gift for both and then he can have a card on Father's Day.

Holi the cuff links are a great idea, unfortunately we never go anywhere nice enough for him to justify wearing a shirt instead of overalls lol.

El1en I was also thinking about doing a nice dinner too. I had another thoughts of booking a weekend away for the 3 of us after harvest.

Probably nothing! We had fatgers day here in March and they do cakes etc so had that, a meal and that's it.

It falls on 21st j think, right by his bday.

He's not sentimental and I don't ever get anything, so sod him!

My OH has always gotten me something for mothers day, and always gets me cards from our son even if he doesn't bother with a card for me himself. If he ever didn't, he wouldn't get anything ever again from me or the kids.

Last year for first father's day, got hubby cufflinks from notonthehightstreet with Jess's name on one and dob on other. They are lovely and hubby wears them all the time.

Our little one is just 7weeks and I've got a 3d cast set with a frame so we can have casts of our sons hands and feet. I'm going to make them with my parents this week hopefully so they will be painted and framed for a surprise for my husband for Father's Day. (Really its something I wanted but hope he will appreciate it too). Think it will be a great keepsake for years to come. Had wanted it done professionally but nowhere here does it so having to attempt it myself.
