Well that was a bit extreme!!!!!

I only wanted a sweep lol. I went from the monitor in Day Assessment to theatre in 10 minutes, I did say to the anaesthetist that I was only there to try my luck for a sweep lol and before I knew it I had a spinal block in. OH was beside himself but was so strong for me. There were 2 paediatricians ready to rush Albert up to nicu in an incubator, resus stuff all over the place, they laid me down, cut me open and out popped this very grumpy, screaming baby peeing over everyone .

Tbh they looked almost disappointed lol. But he's here safe and sound and thats all that counts. They told me later that it was code 1 emergency because his hb was struggling to maintain 80 bpm and dropped down to below 40 so they acted quick. Quick?????? I am so grateful to them and wouldn't have changed a thing to get my beautiful boy here safely.

that must of been traumatic and i know how you must be feeling as thats why i was rushed to theatre with my first as HB was dropping so pleased you were booked in for sweep though and they acted so quick to get him out, and how teeny he was you have had a rough time with everything thats happened so be prepared to be quite emotional for some weeks to come!! but all that counts is that you and little albert is ok xxxxxxx

Wow! So glad your both ok! Lucky that u went down really isn't it. Hi there Bump buddy!!!!! And birth copycat. lol. I totally know how you feel darling its such a shock when it happens. Thank god for going up for the sweep though. I am sitting here with my little man (who by the way has decided he likes his new milk and has put on 7 1/2 ounces in 4 days!!!lol) and I have tears in my eyes. What is it with these bloody hormones?
