Mel update :) *another update*

Ive got to ring up at 7:45 and the midwife said she'll expect us in around half 8. So nice and early :) Ive heard of alot of people being told there arent any bed available to Im going to ring about 7:40 or bit earlier. Really dont want to have to be kept waiting.

Im VERY excited. Part of me doesnt even mind what type of birth I have...as long as I have a bloomin birth! its been so long!!! lol.

Deffinatly get your OH to keep his phone on him. I dont think youll have to wait too long to be honest. You give good birth vibes I feel. hehe. Ive been having contractions since tuesday and it does totally put you on edge, waiting for it to kick off! Luckily though youve got plenty of time for your body to get it all together :D x

Hahahahaha! Good birth vibes?! :-) I like it! lol!

Yeah i'd ring a little earlier - a friend of mine needed to be induced and she had to ring every morning to see if they had space for her. She had to wait an extra 3 days I think by the time she got in! Poor sod!

You'll be absolutley fine - I know people who've had both negative and positive experiences with induction. I think everyone reacts to it differently. Hope you have a fab reaction - 3 hour labour and 10 mins of pushing ;) x

I read in the leaflet they gave me that if they make you wait until 42 weeks then youll be top priority to get in. As alot of people get offered inductions at 41+5. So fingers crossed I wont be left 3 days! haha.

Ive been googling positive induction stories this morning so feeling good about it. Alot of people say that its no more painful than a normal labour, but you dont get the build up so it can just be a bit more shocking :)

^^^ See Google DOES have it's uses sometimes! lol! I've read the same hun - it's the fact you don't get the slow build up which people don't like but if you're as prepared as you seem then I cant see you having any problems! :-) x

Exactly...google happy things and its fine! Im going to be texting meeah at every chance I have lol, So youll all be kept informed from the beginning.

I think baby knows somethings happening soon cause she hasn't stopped moving today!

Hehe! Mine's having a good wriggle about today - think those BH/Contractions shocked him/her! lol! Gonna get bouncing as I was on my ball for AGES last night and had a good few painful BH's because of it :D x

Well Im hoping for a labour watch today so maybe you could fulfill this wish for me :D

Get bouncing!!!

I'll try my best! Will be freaky if I have him/her tomorrow though!

I was due 11th Jan and born the 4th so if this LO comes tomorrow it'll have copied me! lol! x

:D Oooo baby might want to take after his/her mummy!

Any idea on girl or boy? Gut feelings? I had a gut feeling I was having a boy...like...I truly believed I would have a boy, and was shocked for days after the scan. Im still going to be in shock if she comes out a girl lol!

All OH's family are lads so it's gonna be a boy in that respect - although all the old wives tales say girl...! Dunno when there was last a girl in his family so would be funny if baby was a she. EVERYONE says it's gonna be a boy though!

I'm easy but like to think it'll be a girl to prove them all wrong! lol x

I want you to have a girl to prove them wrong as well!

Everyone told me (and are still telling me) that baby would be a boy. Shocked a few people after the scan lol. Bet you cant wait to finally go shopping for girl/boy clothes!!

I cant! I always said it made no difference as I wouldn't be a stereotype and dress baby in pink or blue but all those little dresses and little jeans for boys! :cloud9: I cant wait! Haha!

I think i'd be in a fit of hysterics it baby is a girl - Haha! I'd be like "F*ck off! It's a boy right?!" x

Just caught up on this! Good luck hun, I'm sure you are so excited! Can't wait to hear that you finally have your wee one in your arms, you have had a long wait lol  xxxxxx

Hey Mel - just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world for tomorrow - you have d efinitelyearned a straightforward and quick birth. I have been having contractions on and off all day today so hoping I may join you on labour watch sooner than Saturday! Looking forward to hearing that baby has arrived safe and well x

Aww thank you :) I really do want a straight forward labour...but as long as baby gets here and I can see what she looks like...then Ill be happy :D

Oooo! Babys usually wait until you want to go bed before coming so maybe later this evening your contractions will all gather themselves up and we can get you on labour watch!!!! Good luck!!!
