As you know I need to lose around 3 stone. Been doing the Slimming World diet since lat Friday, at home not by going to a class. Just weighed myself and I've lost 2.5lbs this week :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Just thought I'd let you know

thats fantastic! i also need to lose 2 and half stone to get to my pre preggo size!
not in the right frame of mind yet but as soon as i am ready im away!!!!

Well done!

Thanks ladies

I did it years ago and lost 2 stone but then put it all back on and some more besides. I bought an e-book off ebay with all the books etc that you get from class but for just £1.50 :shhh:  . And then bought andother one of their books direct from them with all the syn values in, and am doing it at home because I begrudge paying someone a fiver a week just to weigh me when I can do that myself...............okay I'm a tight-arse :rotfl: .

If anyone wants me to email them the e-book just PM me your email address and I'll send it to you

slimming worlkd is such a great diet too. its more of a healthy eating plan as a pose to diet. unlike weight watchers - slimmin world make sure you get the healthy foods everyday

Keep it up and keep us updated.

I know, it never ceases to amaze me how much you can eat on it and still lose weight

well done hun :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I love slimming world. I've done just about every diet you can think of and for me slimming world is the best. Like budge says its more like a eating plan than a diet. Its great!
I just getting ready to go to my meeting now.

Just to say that Weight Watchers has the Core plan now too, which you can choose to do, where you just choose from a list of healthy foods.

There's no "food combining" in it either such as things you can't eat with other things (which there's no evidence behind) which I've heard is part of Slimming world.

Anyway I like the old-fashioned weight watchers, where you're allowed a cake as long as you make up for it later by just having salad

I'm doing the WW for a couple of weeks, lost 3 or 4lb this week :cheer: usually I manage to maintain my weight using WW too, but it crept up when I was pregnant/had a m/c. But only another 3lb to go :)

aww well dun

2nd week 3and a half lb
and this week 2lb
it feels so great dont it

Wow becksss well done hun :cheer: :cheer: Thats a really great weightloss that is. I've never lost more than 3lbs in a week.

Keep up the good work hun

We have a new Health section now, is it OK if I move this topic over?

I started taking some herbal diet pills last week but stopped after a few days becuse I thought it may harm our TTC chances.

That may be why I've lost 2.5lbs this week too. Prob won't lose as much next week :)
