What gets out banana???
As i have a child that will remove any bib i put on, or turn it. Then loves to squash food into herself. She has a gorgeous outfit (that i've already shrunk once  ) she squashed banana in between the dungarees and plain white top. Obviously it turns black! I've tried washing it. Put stain remover on it, but it's still there!!!
Help!!!

2 things you can try....
First is licking it. It may sound disgusting, but the enzymes in saliva are designed to break down these sorts of proteins. Give it a thorough soaking and then leave for a few hours.

If that doesn't do the job, Papaya juice may be worth a try. It contains enzymes that break down many proteins but is much more gentle than the enzymes you'll find in biological washing powders.
I use it a lot cos I'm allergic to bio- pour it on (fresh, not from concentrate!) and leave for a couple of hours, then wash as normal.

Apparently soak it in milk before washing, not sure if it works though.
