Waiting To Ovulate ~July/Aug~

This TTC business is so trying sometimes I just like to go to bed instead but I have to do it lol I wish I just hurry up and ovulate early

I know, all the waiting is a killer, I actually find the wait to ovulate so much harder then the 2WW, think it’s cos there’s a lot of anxiety over how much BD is going to get done and whether it was at the right time or not, so I just can’t wait for it to be over!

OMG IVW that’s a positive!! Woo hoo I’m so happy for you! So it looks like the bleeding and EWCM were reliable indicators of ovulation for you then, you were totally right to trust your instincts on that one, just goes to show you can’t rely on an OPK 100 percent of the time

Well I’ve given up on BD now, my CM has dried up and OPK gone back to negative, an OH wasn’t gonna put out either lol, just took the dog for a long walk on the beach instead

I think I was more swayed as Akua said she got her BFP with not one single positive opk, so I thought I won’t rule it out completely, so I am glad when I saw a bit of ewcm I thought there’s a chance.

Is this the end of your fertile window now?

Literally had just this convo with oh earlier. We much prefer dtd in the day time. So now we do it when I am back from work, get it done and out the way

Haha I loved the way you said get it done that’s how it is for us too. I love it when we finish successfully it’s like I can relax afterwards. And looking forward to having a day off tomorrow unless I get positive opk but I doubt it. The last time I got pregnant when we did it the day before positive opk and that’s when I have the most ewcm but it’s so hard to know when that day is going to be. The only way to know is when I have the most ewcm so I am checking like mad. I need to have sex the day before and on the day of positive opk. I just don’t want to miss it. For some reason I ovulate so quick when I get the positive and all dries up quick too. Is that strange?

I’d test tomorrow aswell, if it’s a stronger positive then today I’d probably count Friday or Saturday as 1DPO, if it’s lighter then today’s test I’d probably count tomorrow or Friday as 1DPO, I don’t think you can ever pinpoint the exact ovulation day unless you temp, keep an eye on CM aswell once it changes or dries up you know the window is over

Ha ha it’s just a wham bam thank you ma’am for us these days! No I don’t think it’s strange at all to ovulate quickly after your positive, some people have a fast surge, and I have read it’s normal to ovulate quickly after your positive opk once you get into your mid-thirties, and I’ve read the most reliable sign of peak fertility is EWCM, over and above what your OPK says, it’s definately meant to dry up quickly too, completely normal

In the beginning I was waiting for my pos opk and it was too late. It’s cd11 now and no sign of it yet. Ah also I only get ewcm for a day! I am using conceive plus while we try other times to increase my chances. I really need to get pregnant soon otherwise I will go mad lol

why would I have spotting 4dpo? is this a good or bad sign? It's too early for implantation bleeding isn't it?

I am fairly similar, but that is me basing my knowledge on one cycle

EWCM is also my best sign, I have it for about 3 days, i had more last cycle than this cycle, but i am getting a small amount atm, so will be interesting to see how long mine lasts.

If opk's arent a good indicator for you, then go with the ewcm and just cover all days you have some.

I had the darkest CB Digi OPK I have EVER had last night but OH didn't want to put out. He told me that I was lucky he did the night before as he just isn't in the mood. So, I don't know if I'll get him to do anymore dancing tonight, looks like I just have to be satisfied with what we got and hope to God it is enough.

It would be soooo cool if we all got our bfp this cycle! I don't want to be left alone again!!! - that was my protest for the day hehehe

Implantation can happen anywhere between 4dpo to 12dpo Princess - so I would be very cautiously excited if I were in your shoes. I have a gut feeling that you are very much pregnant and will soon be announcing your

Thanks. Everything I've read online seems to say that 4dpo is too early for implantation and I don't have any cramps so not sure. Hope you're right.
