I think I've missed my ov day I did an opk on Sunday didn't get one on Saturday and on su day it was pos and we did the deed on Monday at 1am

Are you ladies gonna test early? Not sure how I feel about it, I don’t want to pick up a chemical, I actually wish I didn’t know about the last one!

Might just do an opk for the sake of doing one, just to see if theres any change, but i wont be surprised if it is blank.

If thhat mini bleed i had wasnt my AF then i am due on the 8th. I personally wont be testing early, she says so will wait for the witch and if nothing on the 8th, then i will test, if i dont get AF and still negative tests, then i know that mini bleed i had, was possibly a period

I'm not testing until AF is at least two days late. I've been at this TTC circus for long enough to know better than to get my hopes up lol it's just too painful seeing those bfn and then having AF arrive. It's like a kick to the teeth.

Yea, thats what i was thinking - its the psycholigcal tortue of bfn if you test early, when you could actually be pregnant that i dont want to go through.

Would rather let nature tell me when i should test.

On cycle day 15 and still waiting to O sigh lol, was cd 17 last time when I got a positive and that was the first time I’ve ever tracked ov so fingers crossed it’s in the next couple of days!

Definitely still in with a chance, when you got the positive opk on Sunday it might have picked up the surge on its way up, and they do say it’s anything from 12 - 48 hours after ovulation, and the egg lasts between 12 -24 hours!

Ok I have to join this thread. I am on cd10 and I thought I was going to ovulate tomorrow but I had an internal scan and the lady said 4-5 days time. She could see the mature egg though. Anyway I am getting so impatient about this. My cycles are a lot longer after miscarriage so instead of 25 days now more like 28-30 days ! We have been having sex thinking I am ovulating soon but it was waste of time. Gutted

I’ve made a decision today that I’m only going to test if AF is 5 days late, that takes me to 10th Aug, and it’s a Friday so I’ve got the weekend to sulk on my own when it’s negative ha ha! I’m giving it a bit of extra time as my cycles may still be a little off from the miscarriage, I don’t want to pick up a chemical and obsess over faint lines, and I don’t wanna see a negative either so I’m going to do my best to wait!

Oh I totally feel your pain maximus, last cycle for me was 6 weeks! That was the first after MC, this is the second and I’m pleased to see that I’ve ovulated around CD18 this month which is a lot better, your cycles will get back to normal, it will take a couple of cycles, how cool is it that they could tell you from your scan when you’ll likely ovulate! Well at least you know not to waste your time at the moment!

Mine have also been 30 days apart since my mc but I’ve been ovulating on day 18 and having a 12 dayLP instead of a nice 14 and 14, I know it’s only been 2 cycles but this one looks like it’s going the same way too so must be my new rhythm

Didn’t even bother with an opk - wasted on this cycle I might not even be ovulating, but I cant risk not trying.

OMG IVW that’s a positive!! Woo hoo I’m so happy for you! So it looks like the bleeding and EWCM were reliable indicators of ovulation for you then, you were totally right to trust your instincts on that one, just goes to show you can’t rely on an OPK 100 percent of the time

Well I’ve given up on BD now, my CM has dried up and OPK gone back to negative, an OH wasn’t gonna put out either lol, just took the dog for a long walk on the beach instead
