Used Predictor tests again...

Hey sweet , from personal experience I think your going to get a BFP straight away more clear on a diff test!! I used a predictor last night and it was so so so faint then 2 cheapie 25miu and they brought up better stronger lines instantly, then of course a digital came up pregnant 1-2! Them predictor ones are not as sensitive as they say they are I dont think! Get ya self a digital or FR and pee away! I have no doubt your up the duff though :) x

Thanks Lou. I might try and get one on Saturday if I can. Has anyone used supermarket's own brands? Morrisons, Asda, Tesco? Any good??

Hubby wants to bin my Predictors cos I keep analysing them and freaking out lol.

Too scared for a Digi!!! They're the big guns, saving them til we get an "in our face" BFP lol.

x x

Tesco hpt are good I've used them before. Good luck x

Thanks hun. x x

Feeling so worried. Can't shake this scared feeling at all, I'm going to put testing again off for a few more days. :(

I really hope this is it for you! Lots of luck and keep us updated!

xx

Don't use Sainsbury's own - my friend turned up at mine yesterday with a test that looked 100% positive (she was freaking out, they have 2 boys, don't want anymore etc) so she went and did another in my bathroom & absolutely nada! Nasty evap! My cousin had a false positive too at Christmas with Tesco own brand. I would say stick to FR or just for it with a digi, if it's "not pregnant" it will bloody suck but you won't be worrying for days deciphering lines and thinking "what if?" you'll have definitive confirmation! Go for it! The worrying about it won't be doing you or baby bean any good, plus after your MC if you are preggo so soon you should be getting yourself in to a doc asap.
Sorry MissJ this all sounds a bit bossy but I think you need to bite the bullet & do a digi so you know for your health, baby's health - plus if you've not been actively TTC you'll need folic acid etc x

Totally agree with Jenny Hun - your not doing yourself any favours by holding out from testing!

Good luck xx

I used an asda cheapo this morning, no evaps, £3 odd for two, 15miu/ml xx

I've used Tesco own brand tests loads before and only ever got a line when i was pregnant x

i agree with jen......you need to get it confirmed and then get your folic acid and get yourself to the docs..all this worrying isnt good for you. what will be will be. if its a bfp its there now anyway and if its a bfn...then sadly thats still going to be the case too.....but at least you will know. xx

/Agree with Jenny also.
Folic Acid is a must if you are pregnant so you need to find out asap.
Digi or FR. First response gave me my bfp (and I still have the test btw!!) where as it gave me lots of negatives in the past. Very reliable, the digi gave me my bfp the following day also.

Get some answers hun and asap, for potential babies sake! Good luck, it's looking very positive for you though! xxx

i used boots own brand tests they were £4 i think i got 2 and they were good. iv used tescos own too but had 2 faulkty test where control line wouldnt come up! xxx

Or, if you aren't quite ready to test, take some folic acid anyway (it will do you no harm) and test when you are ready xx

I cant believe I have been missing this!!!!!! OMFG Miss J - I have everything crossed for you chick - I think you have gone and done it!! I swear by FR....

Thanks everyone. xx

I've been taking folic acid as my midwife friend told me to whilst TTC so I've been doing that. I will be testing again, but we want to wait a few more days, hubby is very nervous so wants to give it a little longer.

Thanks for the advice. :)

Hey Miss J,

You should be able to get an early scan to confirm things if the tests are messing you about, I'm allowed one at 5-6 weeks because of previous M/C.

FX this is actually it for you. :)
