Update on my tightenings!

Well - I just spoke to the surgery. I HAVE AN INFECTION!!! I have had this then since the 19th June, since then I have seen the midwife twice and been to hospital for monitoring. Only now do I discover this. Im so annoyed yet relieved at the same time. No bloody wonder I feel like a heap of cr*p!

Have just taken the first antibiotic!

Was going to update my original thread but I dont know how to do it; need a lesson!

well, I'm glad you got to the bottom of it finally, but what with your previous history you'd think that would have been their first port of call!! Can't believe it's been missed so many times! I hope the antibiotics start to do their magic soon x

Im really unhappy about it, I have been feeling so unwell and tired - the last few days I have had to sleep in the afternoon as I can't keep my eyes open. I was putting it down to my iron levels! At least the tightenings should stop now, baby is getting fed up with them too.

Awe! They keep asking me if I have a water infection?!?!?!? I said it doesn't burn when I pee but I don't know as there is always blood in my waters and now I'm I'll and tired for weeks she asked it I had waters sen off before and I said yer but they come back clear (a good while back) and she was like ahh well I dunno lol and that was it! Startingto make me think now and she said there was like two other things in my water which there shouldn't have been this was only yesterday bloody midwives! Haha x

so glad you finally have an answer and its something you can do something about too Hope things perk up for you for the last month, you'll have lots of energy for nesting once youre better

Its crazy isnt it?! I have been wanting to do so much to get organised but havent had the energy to do it, hopefully by Monday I will be feeling better. I am surprised I havent gone into labour though already!

Hey thanks for asking! Well I think the AB has started to work as I feel better tonight. This morning however had me unable to move, I have been so tired and feeling really sick. I cant believe how ill I had started to feel - I didnt have a shower until 2pm! I guess having it for 2 weeks did it really, am so glad its easing off, even the tightenings have slowed right down - only had a few today thanks goodness.
