Tv substitute

Hi it seems my 7 week old is fascinated by the movement on the tv, and while it's easy to use it as a baby sitting tool i'm not sure i want him addicted quite yet.

So can anyone recommend toys that have movement?

he has a mobile but is decidedly underwhelmed by it, aslo he can't grab so toys that are on hanging arches so they aren't really working either.

All suggstions appreciated.

I got Angel a plastic gym at 7 weeks for a tenner. It said from 3 months but she loved it. Laid her on a blanket to raise her a little so she could reach them a little. They're in Toys R Us and Argos.
