just a little update...

Went hospital yesterday as pains were so bad and was so tired, had been having contractions for over 24 hours!! Sent away as still not in active labour :( They wont even examine me till I'm having regular over 1min 4min apart contractions for over 1 hour
Currently every 5 - 8mins lasting 1min and very painfull and getting worse now!! all I can do is breathe, also started feel like need to poo/push with them. I'm so tired not slept since Monday.

I hope your not in too much pain try and relax it will all be over soon and worth it!xx
 
Oh bless you - that's so unfair not to even examine you! In my NCT class we were told that women know their bodies - not everyone fits into the "normal" contraction cycles and if you're struggling you should absolutely insist on at least being checked! Some women can be having short, irregular contractions but still be dilating effectively.

I hope you manage to relax a bit and breathe through what you can, but if it gets too much you really should go to the hospital and tell them you're not leaving until someone checks you out and gives you some pain relief! Not ideal, but your sanity is more important right now!

I agree you should push to be checked.. with ellie i had very irregular contractions throughout.. even had DOUBLE contractions :shock: start stop start stop break :lol: wasnt the best..

If you are in too much pain go back and demand to be checked.. im sure a recent birth story on here had very irregular contractions and they wouldnt check her and when they did she was like 9cm :shock:

i remember reading this! defiantly get back down there and get them to check! really hope its not to long for you now, and that you've managed to have a rest! x
 
I hope theyve checked you by now and youve managed to have some sort of rest its tiring work pushing LO out!

When I had my little boy last year, they kept saying they wouldn't check me and I was saying I needed to push, they didn't believe me finally checked me and I was fully dilated and whisked straight to delivery. Really hope you've got good care by now and been checked and hopefully getting somewhere. Lots of luck xx
 
I remember when i was having ellie i wanted to push and they wouldnt check me when i was leaning over the bed being 'supported' by OH at the time.. and they only checked when my legs went and he dropped me :mad: :roll:

I hope you have your LO now :cheer: looking forward to reading the final parts of your birth story!!
 
Contracting every 5 lasting min and half!! Screaming in agony with each one! Neighbours must hate me! Rang labour ward - same mw as last night - won't let me go in till less than 4 mins!!!! So maybe end up having lo on bathroom floor!!!
Ive to have a bath and take paracetamol!!! :(:(:(
How am I ever going to get to 4 mins feeling this stressed?!?

Checked my email on phone to see if you have got ur LO by now and was excited to see you had replied but I'm purely shocked!! So sorry your having a bad time I wish I could call ur mw and give her a piece of my mind!!!
Will be thinking of u babe fingers crossed it's all over soon!! :pray:
